Responsibilities
As an Electronics Technician (ET) or Fire Controlman (FC), you may:
Maintain and repair radar, communication, and navigation equipment.
Operate, maintain, and repair fire control radars, mainframe computers, large screen displays, LANs, weapon control consoles, and automatic gun systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical systems used in weapons systems.
Support combat systems readiness aboard aircraft carriers, Aegis cruisers, and other surface ships.
Work Environment

About The Navys Advanced Electronics / Computer Field (AECF) offers extensive training in electronics, computer systems, radar, communications, and weapons fire control systems, including the Navys advanced missile systems and Aegis radar. These technicians are essential to the ships Combat Systems department, ensuring readiness for combat operations across the fleet.
Responsibilities
As an Electronics Technician (ET) or Fire Controlman (FC), you may:
Maintain and repair radar, communication, and navigation equipment.
Operate, maintain, and repair fire control radars, mainframe computers, large screen displays, LANs, weapon control consoles, and automatic gun systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical systems used in weapons systems.
Support combat systems readiness aboard aircraft carriers, Aegis cruisers, and other surface ships.
Work Environment
ETs and FCs serve on fleet units worldwide and at shore-based repair facilities. Expect assignments aboard ships, at remote stations, and in technical repair shops. Work is highly technical, requiring precision and teamwork.

The Field Service Specialist is responsible for building strong customer relationships, achieving excellent customer satisfaction levels, and growing the American Battery Solutions (ABS) customer service portfolio. This role will travel to client locations and support ABS customers. The Field Service Specialist provides technical direction and assistance to customers on the use of the ABS products, serves as an expert in Company technology.
Responsibilities:
Ensure customer satisfaction with product performance and field service activities.
Troubleshoot, test, repair and service equipment at client sites.
Provide service and customer support during field visits.
Diagnose errors or technical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
Advise and instruct the customer on proper equipment use.
Build customer relationships.
Prepare quotations for field service activities as needed.
Create and submit field service reports; provide complete professional documentation to the customer Repair Order (RO).
Responsible for after-hours and emergency 24/7 customer support.
Obtain expertise with specialty tools programs with cross-functional operations support.
Develop and present training programs for key customers and stakeholders to be utilized at customer sites, industry events, and new installations.

Michigan Broadband Services is looking for a talented Splicer to join our team. This role requires regular travel throughout Michigan, including the Upper Peninsula and Northern Lower Michigan. The ideal applicant will be willing to perform physical labor, work efficiently, and must be highly self-motivated. This position offers a highly competitive wage and a full benefit package. Primary responsibilities include preparing various types of outside plant fiber optic cables for splicing, splicing fiber optic cable, operating fiber optic test equipment (OTDR and power meters) for trouble-shooting purposes, servicing and upgrading various telecommunication services, generating various reports for testing and production, and performing all aspects of the work in accordance with standards and specifications. Previous technical field experience, the ability to read and accurately apply job prints, staking sheets, and splicing details, and computer proficiency are preferred. At least one year of previous splicing experience is also desired. The successful candidate will be a demonstrated self-starter with the ability to prioritize and complete daily work assignments without close supervision, although regular communication regarding the status of various assigned jobs will be required.
Additional minimum requirements include the ability to lift at least 50 pounds, a valid drivers license with a clear 3-year driving record, the ability to work in close and confined spaces, and the ability to perform physically exerting tasks with routine exposure to dust, dirt, wind, and temperature extremes. Shift, overtime, weekend work and/or overnight stays will be required.
