Position Summary:
The FieldTechnician will travel to store locations to perform maintenance and service repairs on various types of commercial food service equipment. Candidate will work with dispatchers and team supervisors to manage workload to complete calls in timely manner.
Responsibilities:
β’ Repair and/or refurbish on equipment such as: frozen beverage, fountain soda coffee brewers, gas dispensing equipment, refrigerated cases, and other food service equipment.
β’ Perform preventative maintenance on equipment such as frozen beverage units, fountain soda, coffee brewers, high speed ovens and other food service related equipment.
β’ Responsible for managing parts inventory on their assigned service truck by conducting weekly cycle counts and periodic physical inventory.
β’ Must be able to travel to several locations throughout the day and work independently the majority of the time.
β’ Receive dispatches via email & phone, and works with dispatchers to ensure prioritization of work with the goal of maximizing equipment up-time.
β’ Updates job status and notes via online work order management system, provides detailed resolution notes
β’ Maintains truck inventory accuracy by performing weekly cycle counts and annual inventory.
β’ Ensures service vehicle is maintained, clean, and well stocked with service parts.
β’ Perform other job related duties as assigned by Department Manager
Working Relationships: Internal Facilities Managers, dispatchers and parts department, to include Retail Store team members. Will also interact with other technical peers including: HVAC Technicians, Fuel Maintenance Technicians and General Maintenance Technicians.
Minimum Education: a high school diploma or its equivalent
Preferred Education: Trade school and/or Associates Degree
Minimum Experience: Requires 0-2 year's related experience.
Preferred Experience: 2+ years of experience repairing food service equipment such as high speed ovens, food warmers, coffee brewers, frozen beverage equipment (Brand: Taylor or FBD), fountain soda units, roller grills and other related equipment. Additional experience in other trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) would be a plus.
Other: Physical β’ Must be able to lift 80 pounds β’ Grasping/Griping/fine manipulation β’ Pushing/pulling/bending/kneeling/twisting/climbing on a regular basis β’ Carrying/sitting/walking/standing and lifting above shoulder level on a regular basis.
Travel: As a Field Tech, this position will travel to multiple store locations during the entire shift.

Assure appropriate specimen accessioning and labeling.
Perform gross description and dissection of specimens received.

Reviews clinical information provided to determine what pathologic examination is pertinent.

Maintain general appearance of the laboratory.
Comply with all OSHA laboratory safety standards and regulations.
Routine handling of biohazardous and/or chemical hazardous material.
Participate in applicable safety training sessions. Know the location and contents of the safety policies and procedures and safety equipment.
Maintain compliance with company and department policies and procedures.
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
Maintain confidentiality of employee, patient, client and/or company records and issues. Adhere to department schedule to meet workflow demands.

Key Responsibilities

Position Summary:

About the Role - Solar O&M Technician L2/L3
A leading 3rd party O&M provider for C&I Solar and BESS projects are seeking a skilled FieldTechnician to support the operation and maintenance of commercial-scale as well as Residential solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage systems. This role involves diagnosing and resolving system issues, performing emergency and corrective maintenance, implementing design changes, and upgrading equipment. The technician will also conduct preventative maintenance, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) inspections, system commissioning, and pre-construction site assessments to ensure optimal system performance.
This position will be site based and you must live within an hour of the following locations: Westbury NY/Long Island
Key Responsibilities of Solar O&M Technician L2/L3
Perform routine O&M tasks including electrical and mechanical inspections, infrared (IR) scanning, torque checks, and site condition evaluations.
Respond to system alarms and dispatch as necessary.
Document findings and actions in detailed inspection and service reports.
Ensure systems are operating at peak performance and efficiency.
Manage site upkeep, including vegetation control and general conditioning.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure a smooth hand-off from construction to maintenance phases.
Coordinate with engineering, operations, and management teams to resolve maintenance issues promptly.
Maintain a safe work environment by strictly following safety protocols.
Conduct audits to ensure compliance with operational standards.
Enforce site-specific procedures and guidelines.
Carry out system assessments and QA/QC inspections.
Qualifications for Solar O&M Technician L2/L3
Associate degree in Engineering or equivalent technical training/certification.
Licensed Electrician and/or NABCEP certification is a plus.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
At least one year of experience with commercial battery storage systems preferred.
Ability to work independently and remotely.
Experience in project or field operations management is advantageous.
Familiarity with power electronics, metering, and testing equipment.
Knowledge of centralized control systems such as DAS, SCADA, or EMS.
Understanding of commercial power plant operations.
Proficiency in reading technical documents, including electrical/mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
Experience with CMMS platforms and mobile reporting tools.
Working knowledge of NEC, local building codes, and OSHA safety standards (OSHA 30 preferred).
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.

Job Summary
GSE Technician is responsible for service and maintenance, keeping in good order all Ground Service Equipment at a designated station, keeping Swissport Ramp and other service agencies safe with reliable equipment that meets all local and governing laws.

Your activities
Operate and drive all types of GSE equipment - motorized and non-motorized.
Perform and show competence in preventive maintenance per established schedules on all ground support equipment
Provide trouble-shooting and diagnostic assessment of ground support equipment as required
Hydraulic knowledge or basics necessary. Must be willing to learn hydraulic systems
Airport deicing training will be required. Reporting to work during snow, Ice and cold weather required. Overtime is necessary during weather emergencies
Will be working outside in all weather conditions year-round
Remove malfunctioning ground support equipment from service and ensure GSE is not returned to service until malfunction has been accurately diagnosed and repaired
Respond to emergency service calls as well as accidents involving ground support equipment
Complete all maintenance/repair documentation consistent with carrier, station, airport authority, municipal, state, federal and SP requirements
Comply with all federal, provincial, municipal, airport authority and carrier security requirements
Will retain a motor vehicle driver's license for both air side / non airside in good standing at all times
Follow all safety guidelines set out by WCB, EPA, WHIMIS, and SP management
Keep GSE shop and its equipment always clean and serviceable, report all deficiencies to management
Fuel equipment as necessary with full regard for all safety and environmental requirements
Will liaison with Ramp management, customers and staff in a professional manner when needed
Work as a self-starter and report to shop leads daily
Your profile
Valid driver's license
Trade school training and or a mechanical background preferred.
Good oral and verbal communication skills
Good computer skills.
Willing to clean and maintain a safe workshop.
Willing to travel when necessary for training or to assist other SP stations with GSE needs as required

What You Will Do:
Work from industry standards, quality control requirements, and standard methods and techniques to detect defects in forging multiples to assure quality of the product
Use proper methods of ultrasonic, etch, and dimensional inspection
Perform routine and minor maintenance to ensure ultrasonic, etch, and dimensional equipment is clean and functioning properly
Ensure timely processing of material through NDT and record complete and accurate records of all tests and test results
Perform mult etch inspection and blasting of etched mults
Pursue and pass a qualification examination for ultrasonic level I inspector
This position will work a schedule of Friday - Sunday (3x12) 7:00am - 7:00pm (4th shift)

HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US)
