Scale technicians will get dirty and should be comfortable with this reality. Physical Requirements & Essential Functions The job is physically demanding as the scale technician must be able to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects on a regular basis, perform repetitive tasks with few breaks. The scale technician must be able to access and clean scales as well as move 500 lbs by cart.
