Responsibilities This position is responsible for assisting in the repair and overhaul of equipment, refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to ensure customer needs are met efficiently, accurately, and on time. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: An Electronic Technician shall have demonstrated competence through satisfactory, progressive performance as a simulator technician. Proficiently use and operate test equipment to perform pre- and post-operational tests on installed equipment and to perform preventive maintenance using preventative maintenance cards and instruction books. Effectively and efficiently diagnose and isolate malfunctions in electronic systems; align, adjust, and calibrate installed training devices; interpret mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic schematics and prepare simplified versions. Graduated from a two (2) year electronic technician resident course at an accredited technical institute or have completed the Navy's factory or formal training on a comparable system.
