Position Summary
As a Field Services Engineer at Sovato, you will play a critical role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of the network infrastructure that powers Sovato's remote surgical platform. This is a hands-on, operations-focused role responsible for the fulfillment, installation and ongoing maintenance of our surgical grade network. You will contribute directly to Sovato's mission by ensuring equipment in the field is tuned and functionality throughout its lifecycle-enabling life-saving care to be delivered virtually and globally.
Key Responsibilities
Site Development
Assemble and configure kits of components for installation at customer sites.
Conduct testing and labeling of kit components prior to delivery.
Coordinate the installation and activation of circuits and equipment.
Travel to customer sites to perform installations, testing, and acceptance procedures.
Document field conditions and maintain a catalog of site artifacts.
Incident Management & Troubleshooting
· Collaborate with the Sovato Network Operations Center (NOC) and support teams to troubleshoot production issues.
· Assist in root cause analysis and documentation of network outages or degradations.
· Provide field support for ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
· Ensure site artifacts are maintained throughout the site lifecycle.
Technical Support & Collaboration
Deliver customer-facing technical support with a focus on responsiveness and empathy.
Collaborate with NOC, engineering, and product teams to continuously improve solution capabilities.
Contribute to technical knowledge bases and operational playbooks.
Customer Experience & Field Readiness
Ensure that all communications-verbal and written-are clear, professional, and reflect Sovato's commitment to excellence in patient care.
Engage with end users and clinical stakeholders to ensure a seamless technical experience.
Network Operations & Monitoring
Leverage network monitoring tools to analyze performance and conditions, assist support team with pro-active event identification/resolution
Maintain up-to-date documentation of network performance and incidents.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
2+ years of experience supporting enterprise or carrier-grade network environments.
2+ years of field services/engineering experience in a customer-facing role
Technical Skills
Proficiency with:
Networking configuration and management
Firewalls and security appliances (FortiGate)
Layer 1-7 network protocols and troubleshooting
Exposure to Arista switches and software-defined networking (SDN) concepts
Soft Skills
Customer service oriented.
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Phillips CT and General X-Ray experience highly desired.

The Senior Field Technician position is responsible for performing day to day inspections of components in the LDAR Program when required. The day-to-day responsibilities will be to perform LDAR inspections on additional services and assist the CPM and FPM with QAQC and logistics of the field technicians. background in industrial 3-phase power systems. Journeyman license preferred, but not required.
Key Duties Include:
Support power systems configuration and validation in support of mission requirements

Position Summary
The Production Test team at Rantec is tasked with keeping product flowing from Manufacturing to the customer while catching items that do not meet customer specifications or Rantec standards for quality. It is when product fails a test or fails in operation that the Test Technician steps to the front. As a Test Technician, you will use your extensive skills in power conversion electronics and test processes to determine the cause of the failure and identify any consequential failures that must be corrected.
Rantec employs extensive automated test systems, but not all product can use these, and it takes sophisticated skills to complete these tests accurately and consistently. The Test Technician will perform manual or complex tests on low volume high value product in an efficient manner. You will have the opportunity to expand your skill set through formal training and through hands-on experience with other Test Technicians and Electrical Engineers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities, including but, are not limited to the following:
Troubleshoot failed power supplies and components
Review test reports of failed power supplies
Use a combination of automated and manual test processes to isolate the problem to a board or module
Identify the failure whether a bad or incorrect component
Identify any likely secondary damage
Document, report, and track failure modes
Report any trends noticed to the Test and Manufacturing Engineering teams
Conduct high-touch or complex test processes
Conduct manual tests on legacy or low volume product where there are no automated tests
Work with Test Engineering on first time run-throughs for new products, test fixtures, or processes
Provide constructive feedback to Test Engineering on new processes and test documentation
Conduct incoming material tests for non-standard or complex parts
Assist the Test Supervisor and Director of Test in scheduling resources
Provide additional Production Test coverage in times of high demand
Report to Test Engineering any test systems that are not performing correctly or are providing suspicious results
Work with other Test Technicians to ensure the Production Test and ESS areas remain clean and organized
Work with Account Management to organize and prioritize testing of customer returned material
Provide feedback to Engineering and Test Engineering on the testability of new product designs
Assist the Test Supervisor in training new Test Technicians
Ability to work flexible hours and/or different shifts, if needed.

3-5 years experience with electronic troubleshooting (board and component level).

The Lead Technician, Facilities is responsible for reliable and consistent operation of building systems for mechanical rooms, offices, labs, clean rooms, and support areas. Work includes operations within a semi-conductor wafer fab facility, as well as performing other routine maintenance and repair projects as needed for HVAC Mechanical Units, Boilers and Vacuum Pumps.
What You Will do:
Candidate will ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on HVAC units, motors, pneumatic tools, and other facilities equipment; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks, including installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production and facilities equipment. This role ensures compliance with safety standards and supports predictive and preventative maintenance programs as well as the execution of small-scale projects, all aimed at achieving the sites operational goals and business objectives.
Qualifications You Must Have
* This position typically requires an AS/AA degree or other 2 year post High school education, training or certification and 8 years of applicable experience gained in a corporate Facilities Maintenance or other industrial setting.
* At least 5 years' experience as an HVAC Mechanic with strong trouble shooting skills to include general knowledge of Pneumatic controls, thermostats and VAV Boxes
* At least 5 years' experience working on large air/water cooled chillers, servicing and repairing environmental-control systems associated with mechanical systems as well as performing other maintenance-related tasks, such as trouble-shooting and maintaining pump systems, compressed air, vacuum systems, cooling towers and the associated systems involved with their operation
* At least 5 years' experience and proficiency in the maintenance of large "custom" and cleanroom air handlers including thorough understanding of heating and ventilation systems for cleanrooms, electronics labs, and environmental lab areas.
* Must possess a California state driver's license.

* Strong organizational skills and experience managing small projects
* Ability to work in compliance with OSHA and Raytheon safety policies and procedures, as applicable, to ensure that safety is the highest priority in the workplace
* Trade School for HVAC
* Certificates for HVAC
* Current DOD Secret Clearance.
* Familiarity with MS Office Business Suite applications.
* Ability to work from manuals, blueprints, drawings, layouts, wiring diagrams, or other specifications and povide support and assistance to technicians/colleagues for various tasks as needed.
* Experience with building automation and control programs.
* Communicate professionally, both orally and in writing, with colleagues and customers as needed to relay information they need to be successful.

The salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 124,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
