Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Master FieldServiceTechnician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting new machine installations and relocations, rebuilds, retrofits and integrations into existing product lines with Alliance equipment.
Responsibilities:
Perform troubleshooting, electrical/control work, system audits, preventative maintenance, system training, equipment interfacing and customer support functions on Alliance equipment installed within customers' manufacturing facilities.
Lead UltraPal, RaptorPal, Raptor XR, Raptor 4x2, and Accustak equipment installation teams from cradle to grave.
Train other team members on proper procedures for performing operator and maintenance training functions.
Perform intermediate controls level calibration, ring out and commissioning functions.
Apply in-depth knowledge with Variable Frequency Drives, PLCs and machine language to include reading ladder logic, uploading and downloading programs to PLCs and HMIs, and monitor inputs and outputs in programs.
Perform software programming under guidance of engineering, including knowledge of Allen Bradley software, KEBCO Combivis 5/6 and Siemens software, and Ewon software.
Perform robotic calibration with engineering support, including understanding of control system networks especially Industrial Ethernet.
Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and utilize Legacy Control Systems.
Troubleshoot ALF MAX Beckoff Computers and Siemens Soft PLCs.
Ability to remote connect to Alliance equipment using VPN's, EWON's, and Siemens S615's.
Required Education and Experience:
Requires a Bachelor's degree (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline), or foreign degree equivalent.
8 years of technical work experience with automated equipment, electrical technologies, repair and troubleshooting.
1 year of experience with each of the following: Allen Bradley software; Siemens Software; KEBCO Combivis 5/6 Software; and uploading and downloading programs to PLCs and HMIs.
Position allows for telecommuting from anywhere in the continental U.S. Will be required to report to the offices in Spokane, Washington when not assigned to a specific jobsite or project.
Position requires up to 35% domestic travel and up to 65% international travel, to visit customer facilities to install, relocate, rebuild, retrofit and integrate existing product lines with Alliance equipment.

Act as the primary customer support contact to diagnose and execute complex mechanical and electrical repairs to products at the customers site

Repair and maintain mechanical/electrical products following guidelines, using required tools within standard repair time to ensure a quality repair; disassemble and assemble engines or power generators by following guidelines and using the required tools to ensure a clean and organized environment; inspect and replace parts and components following re-use guidelines to minimize customers cost of ownership; perform progressive damage checks following guidelines to restore to the pre-failure condition
Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on related components in the field
Identify additional sales and service opportunities with the customer by educating customers about WEMCOs products and services as well as industry regulations
Ensure that all services are completed efficiently, on time, and correctly according to specification; repairs will be completed either at WEMCOs facility or at the customers site

Provide maintenance expertise, troubleshooting, service, and installation on overhead cranes involving mechanical and electrical skills while returning cranes to service in a quick and timely manner
Inspection of overhead cranes to conform to OSHA, ANSI, ASME, CMAA, and other related specifications.
Test and commission new and used equipment in house as well as in the field.
Educate customers about mandated requirements for inspection criteria on overhead cranes.
Maintain your own schedule of crane inspections and service with a Corporate Calendar and dispatch yourself as needed to fulfill customer needs.
Complete paperwork and time cards accurately so that we maintain compliance with our AS9100 and ISO requirements.
Be willing to study for and pass the Crane Tech Certified Overhead Crane Inspector exam
Be willing to study for and pass the NCCO Certified Overhead Crane Inspector exam

JOB DUTIES:
Performs on-site belt installation, splicing, and preventative maintenance and occasional call outs for emergency repairs.
• Fabricate lightweight and/or heavyweight belts in shop.
• Performs rigging to facilitate the lifting of belt rolls, presses and tooling on and off conveyor systems.
• Performs basic millwright tasks such as torch heating and cutting a swell as removal and installation of conveyor components such as bearing, idlers, pulleys, gearboxes, and motors.

• Performs on-site services for new and existing clients, which may include on-site emergency repairs, equipment servicing and equipment upgrades on a 24/7 on-call basis.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires a technical degree and zero (0) to three (3) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
• Ability to read measuring and equipment and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to operate shop equipment safely.
• Ability to operate (be trained to operate) man-lifts, forklifts, hand power tools and shop equipment safely.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections and tests on fire suppression systems, including kitchen hood suppression systems according to the requirements outlined in NFPA 17, NFPA96, and other applicable codes and standards
Perform routine maintenance activities on fire suppression system components, including cylinders, nozzles, release mechanisms, and control panels, in accordance with NFPA standards and manufacturer specifications.
Test and recharge agent cylinders as necessary, ensuring that they are properly pressurized and filled with the appropriate extinguishing agent
Identify and troubleshoot issues with fire suppression systems, such as leaks, pressure problems, or malfunctioning components, and implement corrective actions as per NFPA requirements.
Repair and replace fire suppression system components as needed, ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and manufacturer specifications.
Coordinate with clients to schedule service visits and communicate recommendations for system improvements or upgrades based on NFPA requirements.
Inspect and maintain gas cylinders, including hydrostatic testing, refilling, and reinstallation, following NFPA standards and manufacturer specifications.
Respond promptly to service calls and emergency requests, diagnosing problems and implementing solutions to restore system functionality.
Document all service activities accurately and thoroughly, including inspection reports, work orders, and parts usage, and customer notes, using the Service Trade operations platform.
Work closely with Deficiency Sellers to provide detailed inspection reports, material needs, and other job- related notes, to prepare and deliver repair estimates in a timely manner
Interact professionally with clients to schedule work, discuss inspection findings, address any concerns or questions, and provide recommendations for system upgrades or improvements
Work closely with Service Coordinator(s) to optimize work orders, material requisitions, and job scheduling, focusing on efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, always adhering to safety guidelines, protocols, and procedures.

Proficiency in using hand and power tools, pipe threading machines, and other equipment used in fire sprinkler installation
