* Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed equipment and process monitoring equipment at customer accounts
Position Details:

* The territory for this position covers a 300 mile radius
* Targeted accounts are within the manufacturing industries
* Up to 65% overnight travel

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The pay range for this position is $38,700 - $58,100. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.

Job Details:
This is a 1099/per call position
Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-4 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

Reporting to the Field Service Manager the Field Service Technician is responsible for conducting service, repair, and start-up of Trojan's advanced water treatment systems at customer sites. With a strong emphasis on water quality, the Field Service Technician performs electrical and mechanical testing, diagnoses system failures, and assists customers in the maintenance of their UV systems. This role is critical in ensuring the successful completion of existing and new service contracts while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
This position is part of the North America Service team located in Kansas and will be remote.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
* Cultivate key customer relationships to interpret their needs and requirements
* Utilize fellow team members to efficiently and effectively service customers
* Support customers from startup through the purchase of their next Trojan system
* Solve problems, evaluate systems and/or processes to isolate root causes, and implement corrective actions as required
* Bring unique solutions as needed to meet customer requirements and drive product improvements
* Travel approximately 80% to 90% of the time within the U.S., with occasional travel to Canada. You will be provided a company vehicle and may travel within the territory by vehicle or by plane, staying in company-approved hotels to ensure safety while supporting customers
The essential requirements of the job include:
* 3 to 5 years of Field Service experience
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and P&ID drawings
* Experience working with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Sales, and Operations to resolve site-specific issues
* Previous experience traveling for work.
* Valid Driver's License
* Valid passport to travel to Canada.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience:
* Working with PLCs, specifically Allen Bradley, WAGO, and Siemens

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. The compensation range for this role is $33 - $38 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.

Reporting to the **Field Service Manager** the **Field Service Technician** is responsible for conducting service, repair, and start-up of Trojan's advanced water treatment systems at customer sites. With a strong emphasis on water quality, the Field Service Technician performs electrical and mechanical testing, diagnoses system failures, and assists customers in the maintenance of their UV systems. This role is critical in ensuring the successful completion of existing and new service contracts while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
This position is part of the **North America Service team** located in **Kansas** and will be **remote.**
**In this role, a typical day will look like:**
+ Cultivate key customer relationships to interpret their needs and requirements
+ Utilize fellow team members to efficiently and effectively service customers
+ Support customers from startup through the purchase of their next Trojan system
+ Solve problems, evaluate systems and/or processes to isolate root causes, and implement corrective actions as required
+ Bring unique solutions as needed to meet customer requirements and drive product improvements
+ **Travel approximately 80% to 90% of the time within the U.S., with occasional travel to Canada. You will be provided a company vehicle and may travel within the territory by vehicle or by plane, staying in company-approved hotels to ensure safety while supporting customers**

+ Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and P&ID drawings
+ Experience working with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Sales, and Operations to resolve site-specific issues

About the Position
Your starting pay is $37.31 per hour and you earn more with shift premiums. Electronic Technicians work 12 hour shifts on rotation with every other weekend off.

About the Role
Above all, the Electronic Technician is to work safely by observing all safety rules, including proper utilization of lock out tag out. An electronic technician maintains and fixes machinery that processes margarine and spreads in the plant. This includes trouble shooting and repairing electrical and mechanical issues with processing and packaging equipment utilizing World Class Manufacturing methods of continuous improvement. The Electronic Technician is also responsible for performing preventative maintenance and completing work orders.
Desired Qualifications
Three years hands on experience with up to 480 volts three phase
Working knowledge of PLC programming, troubleshooting and networking
Capable of performing basic electrical construction, including installing conduit
Thorough knowledge of the National Electric Code
Capable of doing various instrument calibrations
Thoroughly functional in the use of PC's
Able to troubleshoot and calibrate AC & DC drives
Capable of reading electrical & electronic prints
Working knowledge of programming of instrumentation
Capable of working off PID drawings
Capable of drawing and troubleshooting ladder & PLC logic
Understand & capable of working with BCD
Knowledge of color coding of resistors and their values and application in Industrial Electronics.
Capable of troubleshooting electrical, electronic and mechanical problems.

Responsibilities
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required
B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
