Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking to add a **Sr.** **Principal Engineering Field Service Representative (FSR)** to join our team. _This position is based in Hawaii for approximately 18-24 months with possible training in Aurora, CO to start._ **What You'll Get to Do:** + The position is for an Engineering Field Service Representative (FSR) to be embedded with a U.S. Navy unit supporting the U.S. Pacific Fleet. + The FSR will be embedded with the operational unit and be the system subject matter expert, providing training on the system hardware and software, as well as supporting the Sailors in the unit with system operations, employment, and routine maintenance. The Navy's intent is for Sailor to be the primary operators and maintainers of the system, with the FSR providing training and assistance as needed to keep the system fully mission capable. The FSR will have reach-back support to the Northrop Grumman factory in Aurora, CO for higher levels of support as needed. Explanatory Remarks: Employees in the Service Technician III classification are essentially trouble shooters, and most assignments are referred to as “first calls.” They effect immediate repairs or repairs of a non-complex nature and where necessary, temporary repairs or adjustments. At this level emphasis is placed upon acquiring greater knowledge of the basic techniques of the trade. Occasionally, the incumbent may be given assignments of higher level in order that he/she may gain experience and knowledge of the more difficult operations.
