Qualifications/Experience/Skills Minimum Educational Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Computer Science Minimum Experience: Co-op/intern experience preferred Other Job-Specific Skills: Basic understanding of requirements management, function validation, diagnostics, and CAN structures or micro controller communication structures Familiarity with control specification development Demonstrated analytical skills necessary to troubleshoot control system issues, propose and implement potential solutions Hands on mechanical ability / understanding of vehicle systems and cross functional interactions Strong PC Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and other technical software) Experience with data acquisition systems such as ETAS and Vector CAN tools is a plus Experience with programming (C++, Python, Java, Matlab, etc) is a plus Familiarity with ISO 26262 standard for functional safet Working Conditions Office work environment Regional and global travel may be required Commitment to work necessary work hours to achieve all responsibilities, including overtime and operating periodically at early and late day hours What differentiates Honda and make us an employer of choice?
