This position will require a heavy presence in a semi-conductor manufacturing facility in a clean room environment. This entails working in a clean-room environment wearing smock suits and required PPE for extended periods of time. The perfect candidate will be expected to demonstrate the proper procedure to terminate category 5e/6/6a cabling. Be able to trouble shoot and test cabling infrastructure with industry standard test equipment. Candidate will be expected to have a basic understanding of how to implement a structured pathway and experience to account for the physical constraints of copper cabling on the desired pathway. The candidate will need to be able to interpret and follow floor plan designs and be able to address any deviations from the plans in a professional manner. Must be able to follow safe working protocols on site at all times. This position will be in Taylor, TX to support a network infrastructure. Candidate must live within an hour driving distance from Taylor, TX. Job Description Assist with installation, adjustments, and changes to network connections for technical systems. Perform work under supervision. Install, terminate, test and troubleshoot copper cabling mediums for data infrastructures in a large enterprise environment. Properly label, comb and dress cables following site standards and industry standards. Must have moderate knowledge in computer literacy skills.
