Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate onsite installation efforts for BAS and HVAC control systems across mission-critical project sites including low voltage cable Work closely with all parties: project managers, systems engineers, software engineers, construction contractors / subs, equipment vendors and client staff to ensure proper operation, change orders and acceptance of the automation and software solutions Work with vendors: scheduling, resource management and coordination of construction and start-up services as needed with MEP trades: electrical, mechanical and equipment suppliers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following represents a list of essential duties and responsibilities of a Field Service Specialist: (Other duties may be assigned) Responsible for installing, calibrating, configuring, testing, maintaining, evaluating, troubleshooting, pre-commissioning, commissioning and repairing as necessary, waste water equipment manufactured by, but not limited to Huber Technology Huber equipment, pumps, motors, valves, polymer stations, etc. Perform scheduled maintenance or repair of the equipment and all other associated equipment Perform unscheduled maintenance or repair of the equipment and all other associated equipment Perform installation of the equipment at customer sites as well as conducting pre-installation assistance Review blueprints, plans, specifications and other customer documentation to prepare for startup or service. Ensure all tools and equipment is relevant, up to date and calibrated in accordance with Huber Technology requirements. Assist when needed in manufacturing or engineering with customer projects as well as unit refurbishment or replacement at the customer site or Huber Technology manufacturing facility. With over 35 years of experience servicing over 1500 stores across the US, our fully certified technicians provide our customers with support and repair solutions designed to extend the life of their equipment, reducing downtime and minimizing the impact on our customer's bottom line. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team. In this position, you will play a key role in performing preventative and reactive maintenance services on electromechanical equipment within the target city and surrounding areas. Primary Responsibilities: Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures on equipment and then provide a solution Perform preventative maintenance on equipment adhering to OSHA safety regulations Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair machines Respond to on-site preventative maintenance service calls within contract time frames Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and coworkers Other duties as needed Requirements: High school diploma or GED Minimum two years of equipment repair experience or a combination of training and experience Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; ability to read and understand schematics Valid driver's license with clean driving record required Must have excellent people skills and always represent the Company in a positive manner Strong attention to detail, organized, and able to work independently Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to stand, bend, and drive for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs, and work at heights of more than 6 ft.
