Pharmacy Systems Technician will help troubleshoot printer and computer issues before contacting the IT Helpdesk. Installs upgrades as needed, trouble-shoots. Covers several sites and working irregular hours to perform duties.

Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day technical support for Omnicell Cabinets and Anesthesia Carts, Automed and other packaging equipment, Intelligard, and other pharmacy technology as needed.Respond to service calls for assigned equipment to support nursing units; primarily at the main hospital, but occasionally may require travel to off-site locations.Manage Omnicell par levels to support patient care needs and minimize waste.Assist with training and competency assessment for new employees. Provide annual training and competency assessment materials as needed.Assign security for new employees.Assist in designing and delivering reports from pharmacy technology programs.Assist in providing pharmacy technology support for equipment at off-site locations throughout the system.Able to manage work assignments and complete them by scheduled due dates.Consult with users of pharmacy technology regarding problems to identify and resolve the problems.Coordinate repairs/replacement of device/parts with users.

Responsibilities
Interprets, orders, and generates barcode labels from the Lab LIS system and applies labels to appropriate specimen tubes and collection containers. Must be able to interpret many different physician orders and requests to include over 1800 lab tests and select the appropriate orderable code in the Lab LIS system.
Removes biological specimens from biohazard bags including blood, urine, bone marrow, body fluids, and tissue specimens. Understand all different types of collection media, preservatives, and risks of exposure to infectious agents. Handles both infectious A and B substances with appropriate CDC, and IDPH guidelines. Ability to determine if specimen was collected in appropriate collection container and media. Understands steps to resolve collection issues to ensure patient testing is performed or recollected.
Receives all calls arriving in the laboratory from providers, clients, nurses, management, and patients. Logs calls in tracking software, answers all questions pertaining to phlebotomy draws, specimen collection, transport of specimens, provides lab results, supply requests, forensic autopsy cases, and administrative questions. Escalates callers to management or technical departments when necessary if unable to resolve all question
Correctly enters outpatient and non-patient demographic, insurance, and diagnosis information into the hospital registration system, answering all questions in each field and updating any information that is not current. Understands insurance policy numbers and carrier codes including client account versus patient insurance billing. Recognizes valid diagnosis codes and follows appropriate resolution on any noncompliant codes.

Schedules all fine needle aspirates and biopsies as requested by clinicians, ensures a pathologist is dispatched when clinician is ready to perform procedure.
Processes all slide and block requests for internal and external consultations, including preparing appropriate paperwork, requesting material, pathologist review and sign off, shipping, and material returns.
Assists with the preparation of slides and blocks for sendout testing.
Contribute to departmental operations by performing other related duties as may be required and/or assigned.
Monitors the laboratory computer system operations menu to ensure all operations are running and respond to the appropriate prompts to print daily reports. Notify appropriate computer operations staff concerning exceptions.
Maintains and scans patient records according to government regulations and accreditation guidelines.
Ensures that professional and personal activities conform to Memorial Medical Center strategic plan and philosophy regarding the Guest Relation Program.

This is a 1099/per call position
Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-4 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

The Junior Farm Technician plays an important role in executing applied field research and development (R&D). Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this role, in Champaign, IL, is between $59,200 - $101,400 annually. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

He or she must be able to make safe confined space entries wearing movement and sight restricting personal protective equipment with limited lighting to clean the interior of tank and hopper cars in compliance with Tactical Cleaning policies and procedures.

DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary by supervisor. Qualifications and Essential Skills:

Interprets, orders, and generates barcode labels from the Lab LIS system and applies labels to appropriate specimen tubes and collection containers. Must be able to interpret many different physician orders and requests to include over 1800 lab tests and select the appropriate orderable code in the Lab LIS system.
Removes biological specimens from biohazard bags including blood, urine, bone marrow, body fluids, and tissue specimens. Understand all different types of collection media, preservatives, and risks of exposure to infectious agents. Handles both infectious A and B substances with appropriate CDC, and IDPH guidelines. Ability to determine if specimen was collected in appropriate collection container and media. Understands steps to resolve collection issues to ensure patient testing is performed or recollected.
Receives all calls arriving in the laboratory from providers, clients, nurses, management, and patients. Logs calls in tracking software, answers all questions pertaining to phlebotomy draws, specimen collection, transport of specimens, provides lab results, supply requests, forensic autopsy cases, and administrative questions. Escalates callers to management or technical departments when necessary if unable to resolve all question
Correctly enters outpatient and non-patient demographic, insurance, and diagnosis information into the hospital registration system, answering all questions in each field and updating any information that is not current. You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.

The position of Field Technician is responsible for all aspects of railcar cleaning and the inspection, care and maintenance of equipment used in the cleaning process. He or she must be able to make safe confined space entries wearing movement and sight restricting personal protective equipment with limited lighting to clean the interior of tank and hopper cars in compliance with Tactical Cleaning policies and procedures.
The Field Technician is responsible for informing the Shop Manager of issues related to their assigned duties.
DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary by supervisor. In order to perform the essential functions of the job, the incumbent must possess, at a minimum, the following skills and abilities. REQUIREMENTS

The lead researchers of the Paint Rock Forest Dynamics Project (PRFDP) at Alabama A&M University are seeking?a team of forest research technicians for six months beginning in mid-March to collect tree demography data (i.e., quantifying mortality, growth, and replacement rates) on a 20 ha forest plot located on The Nature Conservancy's Sharp-Bingham Mountain Preserve in Jackson County, AL. All trees over 1 cm diameter at breast height (dbh) in a 20-ha plot were mapped, measured and identified to species from 2019-2022 and this work will build upon this data set. The plot is part of the Smithsonian Institution's Forest Global Earth Observatory (ForestGEO) which is dedicated to the long-term study of forest ecosystems across the world.? Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for remeasuring the dbh of all 27,000 trees in the 20ha with training and guidance from team lead and field coordinator.
* Record mortality and recruitment, and map, tag, and measure all new recruits.
* Additional duties may include?field vehicle and equipment maintenance and data management and entry.
* May receive opportunities to learn dendrology, forest ecology, and hydrology.
Minimum Position Requirements (including certifications, licenses, etc.):
