Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you. These technicians are essential to the ships Combat Systems department, ensuring readiness for combat operations across the fleet. Responsibilities As an Electronics Technician (ET) or Fire Controlman (FC), you may: Maintain and repair radar, communication, and navigation equipment. Operate, maintain, and repair fire control radars, mainframe computers, large screen displays, LANs, weapon control consoles, and automatic gun systems. Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical systems used in weapons systems. Support combat systems readiness aboard aircraft carriers, Aegis cruisers, and other surface ships. Work Environment ETs and FCs serve on fleet units worldwide and at shore-based repair facilities. Expect assignments aboard ships, at remote stations, and in technical repair shops. Work is highly technical, requiring precision and teamwork.
