Hughes has an exciting opportunity for an Engineer - Technical Field Services. This position relies heavily on the ability to set and maintain standards for several organizations and all field activities.

This position is located in Gaithersburg, Maryland with afterhours support required. The afterhours shift rotates weekly. There will be travel requirements for onsite activities, depending on the needs of projects and training.
Responsibilities:
Creating field standards and documentation Supporting the installation and maintenance efforts Testing new tools and products for field introduction Reporting field failures and driving call completions Leading in project proof of concepts, configuration testing, and field launches
Basic Requirements:
Bachelors degree or combination of education and experience4+ years' experience in a technical hardware or troubleshooting position2+ years' experience in following and/or creating statement of works, configuration procedures, or field service bulletins
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in networking/internet and basic IP configuration Experience in Cisco Switch support, configuration, and port addressing Experience in Fortigate or Firewall support, configuration, and port addressing Experience with Wireline, 4G, and/or VSAT modem testing, configuration, and measurements Experience with Digital Media devices, display configurations, and display port uses Understanding and creation of project or failure tracking Extensive knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel) Experience working with both local and remote teams Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Summary
Provide engineering support to the E-3 DRAGON Training System Support Center (TSSC) located at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications

Educational / Experience Requirements
Completed at least one of the following: Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or received other equivalent training/experience3 - 5+ years of related experience Experience with training and simulation software and systems preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required Possess the ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems

Raytheon Intelligence Space (RIS) is looking for an experienced Information Technology (IT) Field Engineer to support our team based out of Aurora, CO. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing Tier 2 Installation, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting support on Information Technology (IT) Systems and related peripheral hardware. Qualified candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a team that is dedicated to high performance; focused on the support and maintenance of real-time IT Systems and other hardware.
Key Responsibilities :

- Provide Tier 2 break/fix hardware support for program supported real-time IT Systems on an Operations and Maintenance (O M) contract

- Screen, refer, and diagnose internal incidents and work requests as they relate to maintenance of IT Systems hardware and software. Provide timely update, tracking, referral, follow-up, and resolution entries in the Incident Tracking Resource

- Install, configure, and upgrade IT Systems hardware/software

- Provide UNIX, LINUX, and Windows hardware/software support

- Coordinate with System Integrators, Maintainers, and End Users to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Security Clearance:

An active and in-scope U.S. TS/SCI security clearance with C.I. polygraph

Required Skills:
