Job Details
This is a 1099 Contract position. Call volume varies but is typically between 2-5 calls per day. Pay is based on the number of calls completed. Pay starts at $35 per ticket.
You will be completing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services.
Pay period -every Friday after the first week of completing tickets.
You must have a reliable form of transportation to run these calls.
You must have access to a computer and the internet to log onto your portal.
Tickets are run Monday through Friday. You must be able to log into your tech portal every workday by 9 am to accept, code (update status), and map out your calls.
You will be responsible for contacting your customers and confirming a window to go onsite to complete the service.
Parts will be provided for you by the manufacturers. They are typically held at FedEx for you to pick up in the morning. You will be provided with shipping labels and materials to return the removed parts.

The MARC Technician will have the ability to assist the MARC team, to design solutions for complex problems, to assist & manage outside contractors, be on call for emergencies, to handle multiple projects and daily activities, and meet tough timelines. The MARC Technician will help develop and execute plans to establish and complete department goals.
The MARC Technician will be responsible for the continuous remote monitoring of site conditions and triaging incoming alarms and incident alerts to establish a standardized response to critical issues across the portfolio. This role will also require the technician to assists MARC team and Management in providing both reactive and pro-active assistance to all operational facilities teams within the CyrusOne portfolio. The role has a direct impact on the sites, its productivity and operational success.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Assist in the strategic direction for facilities operations.
+ Ensure all safety procedures are followed. Assist in development of training programs to increase team technical capabilities.
+ Be part of a 24/7/365 team to monitor and assist sites with incident response and management. The MARC Technicians will assist in the incident management team's operational aspects in a way which protects, maintains, and improves the value of the data centers.
+ Assist in site incident investigation by utilizing structured problem solving to identify root cause of failures.
+ Demonstrate the ability to self-start, be responsive, and be creative when finding solutions.
+ Identify opportunities to improve quality, customer service and cost performance, and assist in the execution of approved plans.
+ Assist in the creation of reports and presentations for senior management.
+ Assist Management to ensure optimal roll out and training in standard tools, processes, and systems where possible.
+ Help create and implement BMS/EPMS training to include mechanical plant management, utilization validation, and report/trend generation.
+ To develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organization, being an ally to all.
+ Manage multiple project deliverables, requirements, and navigate complex situations.
+ Ability to prioritize and manage resources under high pressure
+ Assist in MARC led Root Cause Analysis.
**Qualifications:**
+ Three to five (3-5) years of data center experience preferred.
+ Be able to work different shifts within 24/7/365 coverage strategy.
+ Proven record of accomplishment for cultivating strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, or customers.
+ Excellent communication skills, teamwork, organizational and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
+ Demonstrated understanding of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
+ Multilingual is a plus.
**Education / Certifications:**
+ High School diploma required.
+ Bachelor's degree in electrical, Mechanical, or other related engineering degrees preferred.

+ Fast paced environment
+ 12 hour shifts, 7am - 7pm, TH, F, Sat (every other Wednesday)
