This is a Computer Field Technician Position doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. You must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware. As part of your onboarding, you will be certified in Dell and Lenovo. All certifications are free to you. Job Details This is a 1099 Contract position. Call volume varies but is typically between 2-5 calls per day. Pay is based on the number of calls completed. Pay starts at $35 per ticket. Responsibility Summary - Environmental Field Technician: Installation of flow monitoring systems within sewer lines. Installation of rainfall monitoring equipment. Input data into software systems which may include geographic information system software (GIS). Inspect sewer manholes manually or with telemonitoring equipment. Operate and maintain instruments and equipment. Accurately document inspections in a timely manner with detailed field notes. Adhere to all the safety requirements of the position while assisting team members to do the same. All other duties as assigned. Qualification Summary -Environmental Field Technician: High school diploma (AS or BS degrees in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology or a related degree program preferred) Valid driver's license and clean driving record with the ability to operate a company vehicle Ability to detect, resolve and report equipment issues (strong electrical and mechanical aptitude preferred) Strong computer literacy with the ability to effectively utilize commonly used computer software programs (experience with GIS strongly preferred) Ability to perform all of the physical requirements of position Preferred experience/knowledge with field data collection Willingness and ability to travel as needed Physical Demands: Standing and walking for long hours Use hands and fingers to control, handle and feel objects See details of objects from a distance Lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds when necessary Work outside year-round in all conditions present Climb stairs and walk on uneven terrain Squat and crawl #IND1
