Job Details
This is a 1099 Contract position. Call volume varies but is typically between 2-5 calls per day. Pay is based on the number of calls completed. Pay starts at $35 per ticket.
You will be completing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services.
Pay period -every Friday after the first week of completing tickets.
You must have a reliable form of transportation to run these calls.
You must have access to a computer and the internet to log onto your portal.
Tickets are run Monday through Friday. You must be able to log into your tech portal every workday by 9 am to accept, code (update status), and map out your calls.
You will be responsible for contacting your customers and confirming a window to go onsite to complete the service.
Parts will be provided for you by the manufacturers. They are typically held at FedEx for you to pick up in the morning. You will be provided with shipping labels and materials to return the removed parts.

About the Role
As Field Tech II you will be a critical member of our on-the-ground team, ensuring smooth operations and optimal technology performance on customer construction sites.
Working closely with leadership, you will be responsible for deploying and configuring IoT sensor systems; ensuring all devices are properly installed and connected; management of wireless network infrastructure across job sites, documentation and other support related to system performance, technical optimization, and other responsibilities as needed. Performs all aspects of preventative and corrective maintenance on heat treat related systems including, but not limited to: furnaces, quenching equipment, material handling equipment, electrical instruments, and control panels.
Provide instruction and assistance to other technicians as needed.
The heat treat maintenance technician must have the ability to identify and correct any safety-related issues and perform independent equipment evaluations to identify potential equipment failures.
All aspects of manufacturing Heat Treating equipment.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair heat treat equipment.
Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
Required to comply with work, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
Qualified candidates will be required to travel (50%+) and must have excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Must be able to successfully demonstrate machine build and repair knowledge and experience. Must be able to communicate well with all levels of management and plant employees both verbally and in written form.
Requires working in industrial / manufacturing environment that includes extreme temperatures. Must be able to climb ladders and lift objects up to 50 + lbs. A minimum of 3 years related experience required.
