MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS · 2+ years of construction experience, modular construction preferred. · Read and understand schematics blueprints and technical manuals. · OSHA 10 · Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required. · Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary. · Salary is commensurate with education, years of experience, and market. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED · Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. · Knowledge of architectural design and planning principles and procedures. · Ability to collaborate with staff, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments. · Ability to foster a cooperative work environment. · Ability to read schematics blueprints and technical manuals. · Technical knowledge of building components and their function. · Strong interpersonal communications skills and the ability to work effectively with various constituencies. · Skills in workflow analysis and management. · Knowledge of building components, life cycle values, and maintenance requirements. · Knowledge of federal, state, and local building codes, ordinances, and regulations. · Knowledge of procurement rules and regulations. · Must be flexible for overnight or extended stays out of town. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT · Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and loud noises. · Light physical effort. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 10 pounds or some standing or walking. Effort applies to no more than two (2) hours per day. · Moderate physical activity. It may require physical effort, including lifting up to 25 pounds and some extended periods of standing or walking. · Heavy physical activity. It may require physical effort, including lifting up to 75 pounds and many extended periods of standing or walking.
