Have the necessary tools to perform repair and scheduled service work. Complete jobs within quoted time limits when applicable. Maintain a clean and orderly (inside and outside) vehicle. Maintain an accurate assigned parts inventory, if applicable. Represent the entire company at all times. Pass Raymond Certification and re-certification if applicable. Maintain good working knowledge of customers and equipment in assigned areas. Maintain an acceptable driving record as established by the company's insurance carrier. Qualifications & Experience Required: High school diploma or GED. Lift truck mechanic experience or background in industrial, heavy equipment, or automotive mechanics preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude-willing to train the right person. Proficiency with internal combustion engines, mechanical, electronic, and hydraulic repairs. Ability to read codes, instructions, and electrical/hydraulic schematics. Welding and fabrication skills. Ability to work efficiently with others and independently after training. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Positive attitude and attention to detail. Valid driver's license with a good driving record (CDL preferred). Must meet DOT requirements when operating company vehicles. Ability to pass background and drug screening. U.S. work authorization. Additional Requirements: Ability to maintain work areas and service vehicles in clean and orderly condition. Willingness to travel when necessary and work occasional overtime. Quick comprehension, flexibility, punctuality, and ability to follow directions. Strong customer service mindset to build and maintain professional relationships. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and work for long periods with required tools and PPE. Capable of lifting/moving up to 50 lbs.
