Job Details
This is a 1099 Contract position. Call volume varies but is typically between 2-5 calls per day. Pay is based on the number of calls completed. Pay starts at $35 per ticket.
You will be completing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services.
Pay period -every Friday after the first week of completing tickets.
You must have a reliable form of transportation to run these calls.
You must have access to a computer and the internet to log onto your portal.
Tickets are run Monday through Friday. You must be able to log into your tech portal every workday by 9 am to accept, code (update status), and map out your calls.
You will be responsible for contacting your customers and confirming a window to go onsite to complete the service.
Parts will be provided for you by the manufacturers. They are typically held at FedEx for you to pick up in the morning. You will be provided with shipping labels and materials to return the removed parts.

Our client is seeking a Road Mechanic/Field Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and advanced repairs at customer job sites. This role offers independence, variety, and strong career growth in a safety‑focused environment.

Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate service documentation and work orders.
Conduct equipment safety inspections and ensure compliance.
Work independently in the field with strong customer‑service focus.
Troubleshoot using schematics, service manuals, and diagnostic tools.
Perform on‑site diagnostics and repairs on diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Complete preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve fleet reliability.
Provide and maintain personal mechanical tools (company supplies specialty tools)
Qualifications/Must Haves:
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work indoors/outdoors.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting.
1-2+ years of experience as a mechanic (diesel, heavy equipment, generators, pumps, HVAC, or industrial equipment)
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (CDL may be required depending on location)
Nice‑to‑Haves:
ASE or IFPS certifications.
Trade school or technical training.
Bilingual skills (Spanish or other)
Military mechanic/technician background.
Experience with Aerial Work Platforms or large‑scale equipment.
