The Level I Technician will assist in piping inspection projects, prioritizing tasks such as taking UT readings, learning basic NDE methods, maintaining equipment, and supporting report deliverables (e.g., isometric drawings, quality photos, data entry, and job forms). The role requires a commitment to learning the various components of inspection operations, fitting in where needed, and working toward basic NDE certifications. Candidates are expected to choose a career path in advanced Ultrasonic Testing (UT), API piping inspection, or a combination of both, gaining valuable experience along the way.
