Sr. Field Tech, Power Systems Technicians, or NETA Technicians are expected to perform service, test and maintain various types of power transmission and distribution equipment.
An ideal candidate will be experienced in many of the following skills:
Inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up and collect data of low, medium and/ or high voltage (to 765kV) electrical systems.
Switchgear and circuit breaker testing
Inspection, maintenance, testing and/or repair of transformers, and all related equipment - 45 KVA to 1,120 MVA
Filling and working with SF6 filled GCBs and gas insulated switchgear
Testing and inspecting low and medium voltage cable installations
Operating high voltage test equipment including Doble M4000 series test sets
Commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair services on controls and transfer schemes
Note: All work and decisions shall be conducted in strict compliance of all regulatory laws.

Required Experience and Qualifications for a Field Tech:
High School diploma/GED and minimum 1 year of experience in a related field.

About the Production Optimization Team:
The Production Optimization team is responsible for delivering uptime, performance, and insight across Formic's nationwide fleet of robotic systems. This team is deeply technical and customer-facing-at the intersection of automation engineering, field service, and business impact.
The Robotics Field Service Engineer (FSE) plays a critical role in this mission. You will diagnose issues, perform maintenance, monitor systems, and interact with customers to ensure optimal performance. You'll work hands-on with equipment from OEMs like Fanuc, Yaskawa, ABB, Universal Robots, and others across food, packaging, CPG, and logistics environments.
What You'll Do:
Field Service and Support
Perform preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance for robotic manufacturing cells
Respond to alarms or escalations (remote or on-site), diagnosing and resolving issues in accordance with customer ASA (agreed service agreements)
Provide on-site production support and informal training to operators and technicians

3+ years of hands-on field service experience working on robotic or automation equipment

JOB SUMMARY : The primary purpose of a Junior Technician is to read and understand coating recipes, produce bulk and finished coating in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) procedures, and safety procedures and also display competency in material handling. Refining/Testing: Prepare and operate the pre-refiner, refiners, and conches to achieve desired fineness and viscosity. Collect and test samples of product in various stages of the production process. Add necessary ingredients to the conches. Melt ingredients for production orders.
Chipline: Operate chipline depositor and troubleshoot color, shape, and size issues on finished products. Read, interpret, and mix bases, flavors, and dyes to meet product specifications. Palletize boxes of product at the end of the chipline.
Shipping & Receiving:
Move ingredients in and out of racking, utilizing our inventory management system, to achieve proper first to expire, first out (FEFO) / product rotation procedures.
Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers, completing the necessary inspection forms. Requires working at heights and using fall protection to accomplish task.
Receive, inspect, sample, tag, and route all incoming materials. Pick, pack, load, and ready orders for shipping.
Sanitation: Utilize correct cleaning procedures to complete production and non-production cleaning responsibilities. Set up, tear down, and clean tanks, pipes, pumps, and plates.
Train and certify in all eight areas noted above within the designated timeframes.

Working with a variety of generator models and sizes, you will ensure their optimal performance and reliability.
Your key responsibilities as a Generator Technician will include:
Installing and commissioning generators according to manufacturer guidelines and specifications
Performing routine maintenance and inspections on generators, including oil and filter changes, fuel system inspections, and component testing
Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, identifying faulty components and implementing necessary repairs
Replacing faulty parts and components, ensuring proper installation and adjustment
Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including completed work order forms and parts used
Complying with safety regulations and protocols, ensuring a safe work environment at all times
Work with diesel and natural gas engines
Work with Automatic Transfer Switches
Requirements
2+ years of experience with with commercial Backup Power Generators
Experienced with engine and generator troubleshooting
Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot generator issues
Knowledge of generator safety protocols
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
