Diagnose, repair and troubleshoot various mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes; repair hydraulic and electrical components. Examines parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges. Reads, understands and interprets operating and parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawings. Tests mechanical, electronic, electrical and hydraulic products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper operation and compliance with OEM specifications. Prepares for jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy and completeness. Perform thorough and accurate annual inspections. Properly fills out working reports, hours reports, time sheets, hours overviews and expense reports. Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision. Provides excellent customer service. Other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Mechanic/Technician required. Experience working with different forms of mobile crane equipment, specifically Grove RT & TMS Cranes; Grove GMK European Cranes; Manitowoc EPIC and/or Traditional Cranes; National Boom Trucks preferred. Must be able to read both electrical and hydraulic schematics. Must have excellent communication skills with a customer/client focus. Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record preferred. Basic computer skills preferred. Required to purchase full set of hand tools up to 1.5 inches.     The role of the Catalyst Technician level I is to safely and efficiently remove catalyst from reactors, using gravity unload, or vessel entry and vacuum technology. Entry can be under inert (IDLH) conditions. The Catalyst Technician level I can safely and efficiently remove catalyst from multi bed reactors and remove manways to obtain access to below beds. Undertakes the key aspects of catalyst change-out processes for fixed bed reactors, tubular reactors or reformers following all CHR confined space and inert entry procedures Competent and able to perform all required tasks for multi-bed reactors under inert and normal atmosphere Proven competency to set up equipment, including safe rigging-up and securing vacuum pipe, vacuum hose, umbillicals and other items to the reactor. Communicate progress and is able to proactively spot issues inside reactor and to recommend solutions to Supervisor.
