* Must have a CDL B License

* Volvo and/or other dealership or industry experience preferred.
* Skill in the use of a variety of diagnostic testing and tuning equipment.

Job Details
This is a 1099 Contract position. Call volume varies but is typically between 2-5 calls per day. Pay is based on the number of calls completed. Pay starts at $35 per ticket.
You will be completing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services.
Pay period -every Friday after the first week of completing tickets.
You must have a reliable form of transportation to run these calls.
You must have access to a computer and the internet to log onto your portal.
Tickets are run Monday through Friday. You must be able to log into your tech portal every workday by 9 am to accept, code (update status), and map out your calls.
You will be responsible for contacting your customers and confirming a window to go onsite to complete the service.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
IDEAL CANDIDATES will have an intimate understanding of oil and gas field operations (experience working in an O&G facility would be a definite asset) and have experience in performing hydrocarbon fugitive emission and /or leak detection projects. The FE Technician will report to the FE Team Lead. Overview: This role is an entry level position focusing on supporting yard operations by executing maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate service records for equipment.
Ensure proper usage and safekeeping of company tools.
Occasionally respond to hazardous material emergencies, environmental remediation call outs, and confined space incidents.
Participate in environmental operations and uphold regulatory compliance.
Fulfill other incidental and related duties as necessary.
Requirements
Education and Certifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Possession of a valid driver's license; Class A Commercial Driver's License preferred.
Experience:
Knowledge of construction, electrical, landscaping, farming, or similar outdoor occupations is advantageous.
Intermediate proficiency level requiring teamwork, comprehension of instructions, and ability to operate various tools and equipment such as pulleys, vises, mechanic rollers, welding equipment, among others.

OVERVIEW
Vertex is currently accepting applications for an Environmental Field Technician to work out of Carlsbad, New Mexico. The successful candidate will bring an understanding with basic practical experience with field work, report writing, client relationships, and project coordination. The Environmental Field Technician will assist our environmental team in conducting environmental projects primarily within the oil and gas industry across North America.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in environmental studies, agricultural, rangelands, natural resources, or closely related field. Agricultural and/or range science a strong asset
Understanding of the environmental consulting industry
Knowledge of upstream oil and gas, and infrastructure industries required
Understanding of technical and/or field experience preparing environmental documentation
Experience working in field and office environments an asset.
Knowledge of applicable environmental and energy sector regulations, standards, and codes
Strong environmental writing and communication skills
Proficient MS Office experience (Word, Excel)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willing and able to travel

We are open to multiple levels (I, II, and III) based on experience and skill level. This is a 14x14 rotational position, where you'll work two weeks on and two weeks off, supporting field operations at various sites throughout the region. During your rotation, travel and lodging are provided.

You will collaborate with manufacturing and field service teams to ensure equipment reliability, optimize performance, and address mechanical and electrical issues during installations, maintenance cycles, and repairs. Responsibilities
Serve as a positive Ambassador representative for ViaPath when meeting with customers and clients - clearly demonstrating “Service Excellence”
Responsible for overall service of ViaPath products at assigned customer sites and willing to assist the customer at all times
Prioritizing and planning of assigned service calls
Communicating updates associated with assigned service calls
Escalating problems when appropriate
Interacting in a professional manner with customers to foster positive relationships
Point of contact for FACILITY staff for any issues regarding customer account
