Job Duties
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
Maintain a service van and its inventory.

Minimum Qualifications
Less than 2 years related experience

Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
Preferred Qualifications
Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.

Industry related training is preferred
Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through

Position Summary:
The Field Technician will travel to store locations to perform maintenance and service repairs on various types of commercial food service equipment. Candidate will work with dispatchers and team supervisors to manage workload to complete calls in timely manner.
Responsibilities:
• Repair and/or refurbish on equipment such as: frozen beverage, fountain soda coffee brewers, gas dispensing equipment, refrigerated cases, and other food service equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment such as frozen beverage units, fountain soda, coffee brewers, high speed ovens and other food service related equipment.
• Responsible for managing parts inventory on their assigned service truck by conducting weekly cycle counts and periodic physical inventory.

The Field Service Technician is enthusiastic about EVs and a self-starter who will work closely with customers to ensure that Highland's electric vehicles and charging stations are working properly and that buses can get students to where they need to be. No day will look the same, but responsibilities will include performing original equipment manufacturer-approved testing, repairs, and troubleshooting customer issues.
Highland will provide the relevant training to repair all local equipment including basic electric vehicle functions, Level 2 EV chargers to DC Fast Chargers, and communications equipment.Key Responsibilities:
Act as the company's on-site advocate for EV's and EVSBs, striving to achieve 90% overall uptime
Represent the company at customer locations with the highest standards of professional conduct
Retains a clean and safe work environment and brings any unsafe practices or conditions to management
Diagnoses malfunctions and performs electric vehicle and charger repairs (e.g. adjust/test steering, electrical, cooling, lubricating, braking systems, drive trains, suspensions, power steering units, etc.) and related assigned duties within qualification level, in accordance with all relevant Federal, State/Provincial and local guidelines and requirements. Advanced Diagnostic, Electrical, and AC skills required

Knowledge of MS Suite products
Possess the recommended tools for a Medium Duty technician as well as electrical diagnostics tooling
