    Under the direction of the Material Systems Supervisor, the Material System Technician is responsible for properly mixing, grinding, and moving all raw material for the production of injection molded products, controlling and identifying all scrap material, which includes regrind for processing, recyclable scrap, and waste scrap. Responsibilities will also include setting up, programming, operation and minor maintenance of the entire material handling system. This will be achieved by maintaining HellermannTyton's Quality and EHS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions and required documentation. Essential Functions: Review production schedule and set-up materials according to the schedule. Read, follow, and verify work orders to insure product is manufactured to specification. Properly complete electronic Material Log sheets every shift. Change materials as required. Identify raw materials and label correctly. Properly program, set up, and operate entire material handling system including blenders, dryers, hoppers and grinder evacuation units. Troubleshoot and correct common material and material system problems. Complete moisture tests daily on Max 4000XL Moisture Analzyer and document results. Clean and help maintain material blenders, hoppers, dryers, and grinders. Complete material transactions in PeopleSoft for additions and subtractions of raw materials. Visual inspection of manufactured parts. Assist in maintaining HellermannTyton's Quality/Environmental System certifications by supporting: corporate policies, procedures, work instructions, and required documentation. Perform daily, weekly, biweekly and monthly cycle counts of raw material as needed. Change, clean and maintain all pump filters in material system as required. Unload "Bulk Material Trucks" into proper silo, following specific work instructions. Verify Closed loop regrind systems are in place and working. Mix raw materials as needed using the correct formulas. Other Functions Complete routine housekeeping to ensure that the material handling areas are keep clean and organized by following daily and weekly cleaning procedures. Attend and successfully complete forklift certification. Weigh and properly document all scrap materials for reuse, recycling, and waste. Other duties as assigned. Success in this role will require Ability to read and follow work orders. Properly complete material changes according to the production schedule and work order. Use and complete Electronic Material Log properly. Ability to properly identify and label all types of raw materials (virgin, regrind, recyclable scrap and waste materials). Properly correct common material and material system related problems. Properly complete cleaning on grinders, hoppers, color mixers, and press during material changes. Properly take samples for moisture checks. Properly complete material transactions using the ERP system. Successfully complete forklift training and certification. Ability to function as team player.     Reporting to a Field Service Manager, a Field Service Engineer Level 1 will maintain technical responsibility over the Mevion Medical Systems Proton Therapy System. A Field Service Engineer Level 1 will learn and become proficient in operating the Mevion Medical Systems Proton Therapy System (PTS) for various customer needs and related work functions. A Field Service Engineer Level 1 will regularly interact with the customers' professional and technical staff to resolve all operational issues with Mevion products at customer sites. Essential Functions: 1. Operate Proton Therapy System, which will include, but not be limited to: Troubleshooting, Post Service Testing. 2. Provide highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site operation, corrective and preventive maintenance of proton therapy equipment and ancillary devices. 3. Clearly communicate the status of the system to the customer as well as to Mevion employees. 4. Work on other highly complex clinical systems related to the Proton Therapy System, including Motion control systems, CT Scanners, X-ray and Radiological technology devices and robotic manipulators directly at the customer site. 5. Ensuring that Proton Therapy (PT) devices are performing according to specification. Monitor daily treatments and system performance and identify any corrections or improvements the system may need. Reporting and documenting all complaints and key performance indicators of the PT device. 6. Ensure equipment/systems are working properly with the required level of compliance/quality/technical performance/customer satisfaction. 7. Maintain equipment/systems according to the maintenance schedule. 8. Troubleshoot PTS equipment including electrical, mechanical, and software problems. 9.
