you must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware.
Job Details:
This is a 1099/per call position
Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-4 calls per day in this territory
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.
Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must be comfortable with daily local travel

Immediate Hire for a Full Time Installation Technician
We are looking for a skilled Installation Technician to join our team. You will install and diagnose mechanical equipment and controls. Our team of technicians works on systems that help with temperature regulation, mechanical layouts, and troubleshooting industrial equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Keeps current on products concerning installation and operation of mechanical systems.
Provides technical support to customers on assigned projects.
Ability to read construction drawings and plans
Ability to install conduit and electrical wiring
Anticipate difficulties, gather materials and coordinating on-site work
Communicates with customers and their representatives
Identifies materials to order for installation Maintains assigned inventory, company equipment, and documents to all activities.
Maintains vehicles by keeping records of service manuals, scheduling, completed repairs and maintenance service.
Flexibility to work overtime, nights, and weekends, as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree or military training on mechanical systems
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, and clients
Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. .
