Key Responsibilities - Service Technician
The position involves the setting and testing of automation machinery prior to despatch, commissioning in customer's factories and the training of operator and maintenance personnel in the use of their equipment.
Duties - Service Technician
Setting and testing of the client's full range of equipment.
Final testing and assembly of machinery in preparation of inspection and despatch.
Installation and Commissioning of equipment.
Training of customer's staff at various levels at both the client's and customer's overseas premises.
Report writing and recommendations following all visits.
Liaise with Sales, Production and Design.
Some Worldwide travel including weekend work & travel where required.
To ensure that all relevant machine documentation is always completed accurately.
To identify opportunities for process, productivity and quality improvements by highlighting issues to management.
To actively participate in improvement projects as required.
Develop effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholder, customers and suppliers.
Qualifications & Requirements - Service Technician
Must have completed a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship.
Mechanically based skillset with a proven track record of mechanical assembly and fault diagnosis.
Able to use measuring equipment such as Micrometre and Vernier callipers with an attention to detail.
Able to read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings.
Able to read and interpret pneumatic drawings and circuits. Fault find pneumatic circuits to component level.
Basic understanding of electrical control circuits.
Basic understanding of PLC Machine controls.
Able to write concise informative reports and offer solutions to problems.
Self-motivated and enthusiastic and able to communicate at all levels.
Must hold a valid passport and be willing to travel internationally and be very flexible in terms of working hours and travel.
Comply with the latest vaccinations, inoculations and blood tests for foreign travel.

This is a doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. To be successful in this position, you must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware. Job Details:
Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)

Our Field Service Technician II's primary responsibility is to perform complex repair work on all customer and company - owned medical equipment. This is a great entry level opportunity for someone with mechanical maintenance experience who wants to learn about CNC machines. Main responsibilities of this full-time role based in the Kansas City, MO area include:
Conduct efficient and timely preventive maintenance to include changing fluids, filters and checking accuracy of calibrations
Recommend maintenance modifications and improvements to machines, equipment and processes
Train and instruct customers on preventive maintenance best practices
Responsible for helping with any service tool tracking on tools utilized
Schedule preventive maintenance customer visits
Increase field sales by promoting the PM program and other opportunities
Conduct inventory counts
Ability to complete necessary tasks in our service software and timecard system on a daily basis
Traveling to customer sites, usually within 2 hours from home, with occasional overnight travel

Travel to customer(s) locations to perform engine and equipment-related repairs.
Assist in resolving customer-related issues in a timely matter.
Work with all employees and supervisors to ensure the facility is clean and organized and presents a positive image of DEUTZ.
Plan methods and sequence of performing repairs assigned.
Pre-order all parts and materials required to perform assigned repairs.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

You'll work independently in the field, building trusted relationships with customers and delivering solutions that protect vital resources and improve operational performance.
How You'll Make an Impact:
Deliver expert service and support for cooling tower cleaning and water disinfection
Provide technical support and escalate complex challenges as needed
Build strong relationships with customers and promote best practices
Ensure full compliance with safety policies and procedures
Execute required chemistry tests, log, and report data, and maintain product inventories at customer accounts
Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts to execute agreed upon customer system assurance plans
Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer pain points, escalating as required
Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed equipment and process monitoring equipment at customer accounts
Position Details:
This position will be based in Kansas City, Missouri
The territory for this position covers a 20 mile radius
Targeted accounts are within the Global High Tech industries
Up to 40% overnight travel

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
1 years of experience in water treatment or an industrial/mechanical environment
Position requires a current and valid Driver's License with no restrictions
No immigration sponsorship available
Physical Demands:
Position requires lifting up to 50 pounds
Position may require exposure to hot, cold, noisy, or dirty environments
Position requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, climbing
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree or trade school certification
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
Experience in water treatment or specialty chemical industry
Familiarity with boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The pay range for this position is $38,700 - $58,100. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.

Position Summary
The Field Service Technician is responsible for traveling to restaurant locations to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment-including hot-side appliances, refrigeration units, and light HVAC systems. This role requires operating a company vehicle safely, delivering prompt and reliable service, and ensuring minimal downtime for restaurant operations. The technician must provide exceptional customer support, communicate clearly with kitchen and management staff, and work independently with little supervision.

Obtain and maintain all required safety training and certifications which could include, but are not limited to: OSHA 10 Hour, CPR/First Aid, and defensive driving.
Adhere to all the safety requirements of the position while assisting team members to do the same.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
