Responsibilities Lead deployments of Kargo's computer vision devices. Collaborate with clients to ensure sites are deployment‑ready, which may include removing existing equipment, electrical work, and/or network adjustments. Full ownership of all aspects of system bring‑up, troubleshooting, emergency repairs, preventative maintenance, and spare parts inventory. Travel to client sites to conduct repairs, maintenance, and training as needed. Greater than 70% travel may be required in the future, depending on customer growth and needs. Onboard and coordinate 3rd party technicians for simple onsite repairs and maintenance. Develop documentation such as SOPs, work instructions, user manuals, FAQs, training plans, and other materials that will optimize system uptime. Maintain a high level of customer service with excellent verbal and written communication. Create status reports, dashboards, and any other analyses to maintain alignment with internal and external stakeholders. Partner with internal engineering teams to enhance the scalability and dependability of all products. Experience Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (engineering, robotics, computer science, etc). 3‑5 years experience servicing and maintaining complex electro‑mechanical systems (sensors and optics a plus). 3‑5 years experience interfacing with customers. Familiarity with command line interface on PCs, especially Linux. Experience using Jira Service Management to track, report, and manage issues. Experience troubleshooting WIFI and LTE connected devices. Comfortable working in industrial environments and working at height. Must be able to lift 50lbs, climb ladders (pending OSHA requirements). Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools (hammer drills, torque wrenches, multimeters, etc).
