RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Proficient Diesel Engine experience.
+ Advanced troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components.
+ Setup, troubleshoot and repair basic paralleling generator systems.
+ Understanding switchgear schematics.
+ Ability to train Entry/Intermediate Technicians/Mechanics.

Job Summary

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of high school diploma.
2+ years' experience with Building Automation Systems and/or 2+ years of Commercial Electrical installations experience.

Support installation personnel on project sites
Assist as required troubleshooting efforts during either the static or dynamic start up or commissioning of low-voltage security and special systems.
Assist in preparing of As-built drawings and Operation & Maintenance Manuals.
Provide up-to-date As-built information as required including locations for sensors, panels, database, code, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of high school diploma.
0-1+ years' experience with low-voltage security systems or any years of low voltage audio or intercom installations experience.
An understanding of basic computer operation.
An understanding of the construction industry including safety, electrical codes, etc.
Clear and concise ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
An ability to understand empathetically the issues and perceptions others have and to creatively and successfully work through these issues to achieve a successful outcome and customer and employee satisfaction.
Ability to successfully pass a background check.
Have a valid driving license.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years' experience with low-voltage security systems or any years of low voltage audio or intercom installations experience.
CCTV, access control experience.
A clear ability to work with electrical equipment such as volt meters, amp meters, audio meters, etc.
The ability to troubleshoot basic electric circuitry including reading and interpreting electrical, control, and special system diagrams.
A working understanding of low voltage DC circuitry including transformers, fuses, breakers, etc.

Essential Job Functions:
Be able to lift and carry ladders, drawings, personal computers, material, etc.
Be able to lift up to 50lbs+.
Be able to spend significant time standing and walking on construction sites.
Be able to climb several flights of stairs or ladders throughout a typical day on a construction site.
Maintain a satisfactory driving record which, per Climatec's vehicle policy, allows the individual to drive a company vehicle.
Be physically able to kneel, stoop and crawl.
This role involves frequent work in outdoor settings, mechanical or equipment rooms, and potentially extreme weather conditions. Regular exposure includes live voltage, moving mechanical parts, heavy machinery, and wet or humid environments. Work may also involve elevated or precarious locations, exposure to airborne particles, fumes, electrical hazards, and vibrations. Occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme temperatures (hot or cold), and loud noise levels is to be expected.
Must have accurate color vision and maintain clear visual acuity to safely and effectively perform job responsibilities
