This is a doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. To be successful in this position, you must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware. Job Details:
Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

Utilize tools, support, resources, and escalation processes within required time frames to resolve customer and system problems timely and effectively. Complete PMs, FCOs, installation and all related tasks (diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems).
Approximately 70% travel across the specified geography is required. The average driving time is 1-4 hours daily. Occasional overnight stays and travel by air and/or train may be required.

You've acquired 5+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging (field or hospital-based) service environment. Image Guided Therapy (IGT), cardiovascular, cath lab equipment and Philips OEM training is highly preferred.

The hourly pay range for this position in SD is $37.00 to $59.00, plus overtime eligible.
This role also includes field service and lead generation incentive bonus plans, on-call pay, company fleet/car, training, and advancement opportunities. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

The Field Service Technician is primarily responsible for scheduled and remedial (break-fix) service on Small to Medium UPS, Power Distribution Units & Battery system products (2-120KVA) serviced by Vertiv, commensurate with appropriate classroom and on-the-job training. POSITION SUMMARY
Our Field Service Technicians apply their technical knowledge and experience to solve problems across a diverse customer base. You will support customers in banking, education, logistics, manufacturing, medical, retail, and other industries. Job Summary
The NETA certified electrical field technician will inspect, test, collect data and maintain electrical equipment at client sites. The equipment includes switch boards, panelboards, transformers, cabling etc. Technicians will work with electrical equipment such as SF6 & vacuum circuit breakers, pad mount transformers/GSU transformers, grounding, instrument transformers and other protective devices.
NETA Technician Responsibilities
* Conduct thermal imaging
* Perform electrical circuit testing
* Low, Medium, voltage switch gear and circuit breaker testing
* Conduct testing of switch gears, transformers, motor circuit breakers, and medium voltage cables-tan delta, VLF
* Consult manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering personnel to troubleshoot and solve equipment problems and determine optimum equipment functioning
* Prepare and maintain reports detailing all tests, repairs, and maintenance performed
* Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean equipment and components
* Power down, LOTO, and power forward
* Strong ability to analyze test results and translate findings
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Associate's degree (A.A., A.S.) from a two-year community college or technical school with an emphasis in electrical with NETA certification preferred. Or equivalent combination level 2,3 or 4 NETA certification with applicable experience.

Location/Travel: This position will require 100% travel to assigned worksites across the United States. Applicants must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Per diem and mileage stipends applicable per company policy.
Work Schedule: Start times, break times and work hours vary per site and stage of our projects. Our employees work more than 40 hours per week but no more than 60, as part of our commitment to safety. Due to the type of construction, weekend work maybe required on occasion.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, this role is often exposed to high/precarious places, risk of electrical shock, and all outside weather conditions. This role is expected to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Due to the nature of our work and our client base, this role may involve tasks in an environment exposed to dust.
