Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered. Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you. You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day. You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day. You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial) You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Job Qualifications Must have related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to calculate figures and amounts Must be able to read prints / drawings Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic & piping systems Knowledge of disassembly, assembly, machining and fabrication methods including MIG, SMAW & TIG welding practices Knowledge of overhead crane, lift trucks and maintenance including hoisting and rigging techniques Frequent travel within the North American region (USA, Canada, Mexico); Possible limited international travel. Travel can, at times, have a short notice window (customer emergencies / personnel needs). Travel is typically a few days to a week; Occasional extended periods of travel are possible. Computer skills preferred: Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook Must have a valid driver's license Valid passport is required Physical Demands Frequently required to stand Frequently required to walk.
