    The Field Service Technician is responsible for providing best-in-class service and support for TARGAN's broiler hatchery customers, both on-site in Oregon and remote for other hatchery locations in the U.S. This position should possess the skills necessary to maintain, repair, test, diagnose, troubleshoot, and debug electro-mechanical chick sexing, vaccination and other integrated automated systems. The FST must be able to use his or her outstanding mechanical skills as well as solid communication skills to work closely with customer supervisors, production employees, and technicians on complex problems and assume responsibilities for continued customer satisfaction. Work assignments will require adherence to a standardized installation, preventative maintenance, and equipment update programs for assigned customers while being able to identify and resolve unanticipated system issues in a timely manner when they occur. This position requires frequent travel to customer sites to assist with installation, servicing, and repair of TARGAN vaccination equipment and related sub-systems.
