The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation of cellular equipment and DAS equipment to provide service to cruise ships throughout the world. This will include but not be limited to new installs, upgrades, repairs and maintenance and decommissioning of equipment. You will work rack building (radios, routers and switches, servers, RF and DAS), will need to understand international travel policies and be able to travel anywhere in the world and be gone for up to 2 months at a time.

Responsibilities
Installing, upgrading, repairing, and troubleshooting cellular and DAS equipment on cruise and cargo vessels throughout the world
Working onboard, embarkation and disembarkation of cruise and cargo ships
Onboard training of our system with the ship's personnel
Configuring hardware and testing of equipment and system after installation
Rack and stack and cable management of routers, switches, radios, servers, PDUs, UPS, and DAS equipment
Performing routine maintenance on technology equipment
Testing equipment to troubleshoot the issues
RF Propagation testing throughout vessel
Documenting installation and repairs
Create formal documentation for customer
Maintaining all tools and equipment used during service calls
Teaching customers how to use the equipment properly
Managing the stock of replacement parts and equipment
Reporting and communicating with multiple ship representatives/high ranking officers, vendors, and service providers
Qualifications

The Position
We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician for our Miami, FL area market to perform all service work on our filtered water systems, including bottleless water coolers, ice machines, sparkling water dispensers, and coffee brewers. This includes installations, maintenance repairs, and preventative maintenance. Job Details:
This is a 1099/per call position
Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

SUMMARY

Primary Job Role
Repairs or replaces defective parts on machinery/equipment. Disassembles components and properly clean parts. Inspects components to ensure maximum parts are being reused to control repair costs. Tests, diagnoses and adjusts failures of equipment.
Creates repair estimates and submits information to substantiate quotes and estimates. Prepares all parts requisitions, time cards, or service reports, as requested by the supervisor. Ensures they are legible and accurate with sufficient detail for service accounting needs.
Monitors job expenses versus repair estimates and ensures that the lead person is aware of any cost over run, prior to the job being completed. Assumes the lead person position temporarily, as necessary.
Demonstrates utilization of dealer computer systems for work orders and other documentation.
Maintains a minimum set of tools required for job performance.
Works in a neat, orderly, and safe manner while caring for and maintaining company machines/equipment.
Maintains personal company service literature, and maintains a high awareness of technical changes in the industry.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Education and Experience

Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
Must have completed standards outlined in the personnel achievement guideline or have been determined to meet the same qualification by the lead person based on division location.
Must posses a valid Class E Driver's License.

Job Summary
The Field Service Technician reports directly to the Operations Manager and will take a proactive approach to maintaining and repairing a vast array of dewatering and treatment systems and equipment.
Job Responsibilities
Complete all tasks according to Griffin SOPs and JSAs.
Proactively visit jobsites to monitor dewatering system performance, meet with clients, and make repairs on systems or equipment as needed.
Complete site inspection paperwork, field daily reports,
Effectively tune and troubleshoot dewatering systems, pumps and electrical equipment.
Safely operate hand and power tools, pumps, and electrical equipment.
Maintain orderliness of installed Griffin equipment and materials.
Follow directives accurately and efficiently.
Effectively communicate with client, supervisor and co-workers.
Job Requirements
Legal to work in US.
Pass a required drug and background screen.
Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Percent of Travel Required - up to 50%.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Purpose of the Position
Perform a variety of field and technical tasks associated with the phases of environmental site investigation and remediation under the direction of the project manager.
Essential Position Responsibilities
Perform groundwater sampling collection at various sites pursuant to government regulations and AET Standard Operating Procedures.
Performs operation and maintenance of remedial treatment systems to include monthly scheduled visits, system restarts, trouble shooting for system failures and maintenance/repair of system components.
May assist in geological site investigations including groundwater, soil, sediment and surface water sampling under the direction of the project manager.
Conducts field oversight of drilling subcontractors including oversight of well installation, soil/groundwater sampling and testing.
Assists with physical duties associated with excavations, remediation system installations, remediation system modifications, and site restoration.
Coordinates sample packing and shipping to laboratory subcontractor.
May operate heavy equipment, power tools, hand tools, and engage in moderate to heavy lifting.
Helps ensure that all activities meet or exceed the customer's expectations, Company standards, and all applicable safety and environmental regulations.
