He or she must be able to make safe confined space entries wearing movement and sight restricting personal protective equipment with limited lighting to clean the interior of tank and hopper cars in compliance with Tactical Cleaning policies and procedures. The Field Technician is responsible for informing the Shop Manager of issues related to their assigned duties. DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS include the following. Job Description West Side Tractor Sales Service Technician- DOL Registered Apprenticeship Program Service Department Reports To: Service Manager West Side Tractor Sales' Apprenticeship Program provides a structured and progressive learning environment for candidates that are interested in pursuing a career as a Heavy Equipment Service Technician. Apprentices are paired with an experienced technician mentor at their branch that is a trusted resource for assistance and guides learning activities. Apprentices under this program must be enrolled at Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana. Service Technicians perform basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer owned equipment. Service Technician Job Duties: - Diagnosis, recondition and repair of equipment and components under the supervision of a Journeyman Technician - Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment - Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion - Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments - Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments - Accounts for all time on a time card and for all material used in performing assigned duties - Participates in West Side's Safety Program - Other duties as assigned Experience, Education, Skills & Knowledge: - Enrolled in an approved technician program at Ivy Tech Community College - Demonstrates basic mechanical skills; Good working knowledge of basic equipment operations and mechanical functions - Ability to work as a team member - Computer skills in data entry, basic navigation and Internet Physical Requirements of this position: - Ability to lift, manipulate, and move items weighing upwards of 50 lbs. repeatedly - Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, reach, kneel and squat as required by assigned task - Noise level is generally loud - Exposure to dust, fumes, gases and chemicals - Regularly works near moving mechanical parts - Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination

Analyze electrical and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required. Perform scheduled repairs and preventative maintenance to fueling systems. Communicate with customers and explain technical issues in a non-technical manner. Experience, Competencies and Education High School Diploma or GED. Valid State Issued Driver's License and good driving record. At least 2+ years' experience troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining gasoline dispensing units including dispenser hydraulics and submerged pump units. Hold valid dispenser certification(s). Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather; daily local travel; lifting 50-75 lbs. We are currently looking for an experienced individual to fill the position of Equipment Service Technician for a group of our Burger King Restaurants. Reporting to the District Manager, the candidate will be responsible for completing the duties required to maintain the physical integrity of each assigned restaurant through the implementation of preventative maintenance and responding to the maintenance needs of each restaurant. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Prioritize and complete needed repairs as they occur in a timely fashion. * Work with the R&M Budget to implement preventive maintenance procedures as defined by company representatives. * Develop a work schedule to minimize the impact on customer service and restaurant operations.
