Dismantle, assemble, or reassemble engines, transmissions, or differentials, fuel systems, and hydraulic and electric components. Service forklifts with water, fuel, oils, or lubricants and apply cleaning solvents when needed. Align, adjust, repair, or replace worn or broken mechanical components or parts. Use hand or power tools and precision measuring tools where needed. Ensure completion of work and satisfaction for our customers. Participate in and stay up to date on TMHU training online. Manage multiple customer work orders in process and ensure timely completion with in less than two weeks. Ensure paperwork is complete, accurate, signed off on by our customer, and turned in promptly. Work with customers to identify and resolve equipment issues. Read, understand, and use the shop and parts manuals as well as operating manuals, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Contact proper personnel on full maintenance rental accounts when repairs are needed. Manage call response time within 2-3 hours of dispatch time; communicate with dispatcher to minimize drive time. Inform dispatch of location and job destination after every job is complete. Accurately quote customers for services or parts needed Represent company in a professional manner encompassing our mission statement and values. Job Description ABOUT THE ROLE The production service team ensures customer issues are addressed to the customer's satisfaction in a timely manner in accordance with Cavco warranties and commitments. Ensuring ongoing customer loyalty and brand support is a key driver of production service team success. The Production Service Technician resolves customer issues on site at times identifying and addressing the defect issues themselves within Cavco's warranties and commitments. He/she assists customers with understanding their product purchase. This role may work independently or under direct supervision executing specific process steps under continuous quality review and coaching as needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Installs and repairs Cavco products, and performs on-site post-installation repair, calibration, and maintenance as scheduled or required, applying knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, and appliances. Checks work orders and related manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams to determine tasks to be performed and tools, equipment, and parts needed for installation of repair assignment. We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Field Service Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment across our Retail locations within a Region. The ideal candidate will possess a solid mechanical and technical background, a problem-solving mindset, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance. This role requires up to 75% of travel, physical work, and the ability to handle a wide variety of service and repair tasks. Key Responsibilities: * Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of automotive service equipment at our Centers. * Perform scheduled and emergency service visits, documenting all work in Corrigo or other CMMS platforms. * Diagnose and repair equipment including: * Air Compressors (single-phase and 3-phase), compressed air systems, dryers, pressure regulators, filters, and hose lines. * Automotive Lifts (hydraulic/electric), ensuring safety and operational standards are met. * Automotive Service Equipment such as transmission fluid exchange machines, coolant service systems, etc. * Oil Delivery Systems: pumps, pressure regulators, metered control guns, overhead reels, and oil tanks. * Automotive A/C Service Machines (EPA Section 609 certification preferred). * Conduct basic electrical tasks including lighting repairs, circuit breaker resets/replacements, and code compliance. * Handle basic plumbing repairs such as sump pump replacements and bathroom fixture repairs. * Perform general handyman duties including painting, drywall repairs, door fixes, and minor concrete work. * Use ladders and work in elevated positions as needed. * Travel daily to multiple service sites and respond to emergency service needs promptly (75% travel) Qualifications: * Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
