The Field Service Specialist is responsible for systems oversight, monitoring, and error resolution to ensure data integrity and collection. RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Proactively contacts end users to address data entry errors via email, phone, Teams, and other electronic means.
• Possesses extensive knowledge of Air Force plans and scheduling, flightline maintenance, and operations, preferably on the C-130.
• Adheres to and ensures implementation of approved MERC standard processes (MSP) consisting of quality management policies and principles, and promotes an attitude of commitment to continuous quality improvement.
• Directs, advises, or assists in conducting regular, special and integrated system test programs.
• Plans, prepares and conducts on-the-job training as required.
• Ensures thorough familiarity and awareness of all MERC core capabilities and with the MERC current and potential customer base in an effort to promote MERC capabilities and interests to customers and potential customers.
• Submits suggestions for new business opportunities or report identified customer problems or opportunities to the Director of Acquisition Strategy through their Chief Engineer.
• Complies with all Executive Director approved MERC-wide policies and procedures.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
• A Master's degree in a technical discipline and 5 years of directly related experience; or an undergraduate degree in same and 6 years of directly related experience; or a high school diploma and 8 years of directly related experience.
• Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Advanced knowledge of Air Fore Maintenance Operations, specifically Air Force or Special Operations Forces C-130J

Job Details:
This is a 1099/per call position
Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-4 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

Essential Duties:
Diagnose and repair systems failures as existing solar sites, identify and correct potential issues that may impact site performance in the future. Assist and support field teams with real-time solutions to site operations issues and execute the same. Diagnose/troubleshoot equipment failures and perform regular preventative maintenance on a variety of solar, BESS and other project equipment. Support field teams and clients via oversight/support of warranty matters regarding equipment and systems for use or replacement. Installs, removes, troubleshoots and the maintenance of solar, BESS and other related electrical equipment.
Ensure a safe, event-free work environment through strict adherence to company and client protocols, safety procedures and regulations. Ensure compliance with all safety requirements and safe best practices (e.g. lock-out/tag-out compliance, JHA completion, LDL testing, and compliance with all company safety policies or procedures and work practices).
Prepare service tickets and reports for site visits, emergency repairs, equipment modifications and equipment improvement investigations. Provide reports, written and oral communication in a timely and complete fashion.
Communicate with technical leads, project leads/managers, and third-party sub-contractors to ensure timely resolution to all required activities; Support recommended performance improvements and at address site safety and compliance concerns; Other responsibilities as directed by manager.

What You Will Be Doing:
As a Preventative Maintenance Field Service Technician, you will be performing preventive maintenance on various types of customer/rental machines as per machine guidelines in a safe and timely manner on customer job sites.
Primary Responsibilities:
Drive to customer's job site daily to complete preventive maintenance.
Operate heavy equipment to determine deficiency's or performance issues daily.
Perform all necessary preventive maintenance work for each specific interval service.
Complete all work orders, time sheets & inspections from completed services.
Operate service truck safely and comply with all regulations.
Must be able to obtain a CDL license if required
Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner.
Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Communicate with external vendors and support personnel to resolve faults rapidly
Monitor RMM system alerts and notifications and respond accordingly
Work with Level II Technicians to develop solutions for client needs and escalate as necessary
Maintain complete documentation in the Spinen's help desk system including diagnosis and resolution
Complete pre-configuration and onsite deployment of advanced networking and server equipment, and cloud-hosted services requiring higher-level expertise
Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to support managed services clients
Assist in maintaining Spinen's internal infrastructure, including user management, hardware replacements/maintenance, advanced RMM maintenance, etc.

What You Will Be Doing:
As a Heavy Equipment Field Service Diesel Technician, you will be diagnosing, troubleshooting, and performing standard mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs on customer's equipment in the field. Technicians furnish their own tools, are able to operate industry associated heavy equipment, and complete all assigned work in an accurate and timely manner.
Primary Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and locate mechanical deficiencies on heavy equipment diesel engines and components. Source and order parts as needed.
Determine extent of necessary repairs including identifying major powertrain overhaul needs and prepare orders for required services.
Proper use of diagnostic equipment.
Repair and/or replace all components of diesel engines hydraulic systems, air conditioning systems, suspension systems, drive trains, electrical systems, steering, braking, material handling, and operator comfort systems.
Perform welding and brazing, fabricate and modify parts, equipment, miscellaneous structures and attachments.
Complete all work orders (including warranty information) and time sheets in a legible, accurate, and timely manner.
Operate equipment and vehicles with possession of all necessary licenses and certificates.
Perform all work in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures.
Maintain service vehicle inspection records, daily inspections and driver logs as required by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
