Description - Field Technician - AET Business Group/Dept: Operations FLSA: Non-Exempt Reports To: Project Manager Date: August 10, 2022 Purpose of the Position Perform a variety of field and technical tasks associated with the phases of environmental site investigation and remediation under the direction of the project manager. Essential Position Responsibilities Perform groundwater sampling collection at various sites pursuant to government regulations and AET Standard Operating Procedures. Performs operation and maintenance of remedial treatment systems to include monthly scheduled visits, system restarts, trouble shooting for system failures and maintenance/repair of system components. May assist in geological site investigations including groundwater, soil, sediment and surface water sampling under the direction of the project manager. Conducts field oversight of drilling subcontractors including oversight of well installation, soil/groundwater sampling and testing.
