This person will be responsible for hauling grain, water, manure, compost, seed, and other agricultural materials using a range of equipment, including semi trucks, dump trailers, straight trucks, and flatbeds. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Primary Driving and Hauling Responsibilities Operate standard transmission vehicles Haul grain from fields to the Farm during both small-grain and fall harvest periods Fill and transport water using straight dump trucks fitted with tanks to and from tomato fields during planting season Load and haul spray trailers (flatbed semi trailers with tanks) to support tomato crop growth and harvest ? Frequently “drop and hook” trailers during tomato season. Load, transport, and dump manure from horse or dairy farms to our compost facility using dump trucks or semi truck and trailer combinations Deliver compost from the compost facility to customer sites and farm fields using appropriate vehicles ? Haul grain to and from the Farm and various grain facilities, including unloading trailers (manual crank handle) ?
