RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shift hours may vary.
Maintains cleanliness of the warehouse. Removes recycle and empty pallets from the pick modules daily. Sweeps the floor daily. Scrubs warehouse floors when permitted. Unload return trailers and sort materials into appropriate trailers. May be required to work on the boxline periodically. Empties trash in all departments. Responds to spill calls over intercom and cleans warehouse racking and within individual slots of damaged product, spills, broken cases and pallets. Sweeps, vacuums/mops restroom and break room floors and cleans restroom fixtures nightly. Restocks paper towels and toilet paper. Empties trash, cleans carpets and dusts. Strips and waxes the floor as needed.
Empties all outdoor trash cans. Maintains cleanliness of the disposal area. May be required to scrub the outside entrance area of the warehouse. Follows company cleaning procedures. Ensures a safe work environment.
Responsible for performing all job duties with honesty and integrity.
SKILLS, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
Ability to reach and to lift cleaning work aides, trash can and supplies weighing up to approximately 50 lbs on the average and 70-100 lbs on occasion. Ability to push and pull heavy sanitation work supply carts. Ability to drive floor cleaning machinery and motorized machinery (electric pallet jack, fork lift, pickers, etc).
Manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance are required. Ability to bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently. Ability to do repetitious arm movements required for cleaning procedures. Ability to use and operate related work aides such as: brooms, mops, office floor buffing and waxing machines, warehouse floor scrubber and other motorized equipment.
Mental alertness is necessary to ensure safe and accurate completion of work activities. Ability to learn proper sanitation procedures. Ability to learn safe operation of floor scrubbing equipment and motorized equipment. Ability to read and comprehend labels on cleaning supplies and hazardous materials throughout the facility.
Exposure to potential hazards exist with respect to warehouse machinery, equipment and work aides necessary to perform job duties. Hands are frequently exposed to water and cleaning agents. Occasional exposure to facility pest control fumes. Noise exposure is within normal warehouse expectations.

Your Day at Lowe's
As a Receiver/Stocker, you keep our stores clean and presentable to improve customers' overall shopping experience. You ensure our merchandise is accurately received and replenished by safely unloading merchandise from incoming freight, moving it to the sales floor, and stocking shelves.

Pay Rate: $24/hour The primary focus of the Warehouse II role is movement of product within the warehouse. In addition, this role will serve as back-up delivery driver for non-CDL trucks. This is a general labor position that will prioritize and pick product to fill orders, and physically move and lift product weighing as much as 150 pounds.
* Load and unload delivery trucks - Lifting products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds. Handling of tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) greater than approximately 50 pounds.
* Designate and organize the warehouse stock by product line and by physical alignment, allowing sufficient space for overflow
* Perform periodic facilities maintenance and/or custodial / housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning parking lot, loading dock and area surrounding building; keeping floors clear of debris, maintaining bathrooms and assisting in daily closing down of warehouse
* Compile and submit regular reports of damaged, outdated stock or supplies, over and under shipments, return of products to vendor, etc. and segregate defective product from normal flow of inventory
* Prioritize and pick material to fill orders and stage product for loading
* Assist in verifying all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in terms of amount, size and type, informing management of inventory and supply shortages as well as assisting in actual periodic inventory counts
* Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) in a safe manner and maintain an operator license, if required.
* Assist in administrative tasks, such as the handling and preparation of paperwork. May assist in the daily closing of the warehouse.
