As a Warehouse Worker / Counter Sales Representative, you'll be the welcoming face of our San Rafael branch, providing outstanding service to our customers. Check in and put away material, verifying the quantity and quality of received material. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, clear aisles and walkways. Entering of customer orders, branch transfers, obtaining quotation information, inventory information, pricing. Follow-up on customer orders, resolve problems for the customer's satisfaction, respond customers quickly. Provide product/job quotes as appropriate. Effectively communicate to customers any relevant policies and/or procedures regarding purchases, returns, credit terms, etc. Assist in maintaining the appearance of branches as needed, straightening, cleaning the counter area, warehouse, bathrooms, etc. Report back orders and/or material discrepancies. Perform all duties in a safe manner, following all safety rules. Inform the manager of any potentially hazardous conditions. Assist in year-end physical inventory. Qualifications Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify. High school diploma/GED or equivalent education required. Basic knowledge of products in Warehouse, Plumbing, Retail/Customer Service Environments required. Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency. Ability to input, retrieve, and analyze data. Ability to recognize and read location, date, and product codes.
