Despite the extreme importance of agricultural work, the workers who grow, harvest, and process the food we eat are some of the most vulnerable to exploitation, civil rights abuses, and unfair labor practices. As the primary legal services provider for agricultural workers in Ohio, ABLE's team has challenges injustices facing agricultural workers, often stemming from racialized and xenophobic history of our worker protection laws. Our staff advocate for safe housing and working conditions, fair wages, and civil rights for agricultural workers across the state of Ohio. We are a dynamic team of passionate advocates looking for an attorney with strong project management and supervision skills to lead our AWP team in a combination of litigation, policy advocacy, and community organizing work.
