As a stitching machine operator, you will utilize a variety of industrial single needle, double needle and programmable machines to stitch one of over 100 operations needed to complete the turnout gear shell or liner. As a machine operator, you will also work on snapping, seam seal, automated stitching, labeling, inspection and final packaging. Every operator is responsible for the quality of their work.

Primary Role
Participates in the investigation, construction, replacement, and repair of various types and sizes of water pipe and appurtenances that are or become a part of the Transmission (T) and Distribution (D) system.

Your Day at Lowe's
You'll keep shelves stocked and backrooms organized by unloading freight, moving products to the sales floor, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. You may also assist customers in locating or loading products. Most shifts are physically active, and scheduling may include morning, evening, or overnight hours based on store needs.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering support during projects
Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets
Support store operations by verifying deliveries, completing dock prep, and using equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts
Maintain a safe, clean environment by following proper procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping
Operate store equipment including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as needed
Pitch in as a team player to complete other assigned tasks
Additional responsibilities for Pro Fulfillment Stores include:
Use the Orders App to pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders
Load delivery orders, ensuring quality, accuracy, and safe loading practices

Minimum Qualifications

Working Conditions
Environmental factors vary by location. You may be working in both inside and outside weather conditions. Exposure to varying climates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions, is possible. You may be exposed to constant or intermittent noises in addition to moving or shaking objects and equipment.
Lifting methods vary based on role, weight, and volume. Associates must follow guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds. Team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.

Move birds as required to laying/ Pedigree houses or live haul loading area. Ensuring all wing bands have been removed for load outs for birds' leaving the farm. (10%)
Maintains tractors, pressure washers, litter truck, trailers, & mechanical equipment while providing all weekly & maintenance safety checks. (10%)
Other duties, responsibilities, & activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Properly euthanize selected or weak/ill birds in accordance with company policy. (10%)

The Warehouse I position will prioritize and pick product to fill orders and staging product for loading, physically moving and lifting product weighing as much as 150 pounds, organizing the warehouse stock, assisting in daily closing down of warehouse, compiling and submitting regular reports of damaged, outdated stock or supplies, over- and under-shipments, return of products to vendor, etc., assisting in periodic inventory counts, operating powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) in safe manner and maintaining an operator license, if required.
Key Responsibilities
* Ability to operate equipment to assist in loading and unloading. Data entry of product number, use of hand-held devices and product placement for inventory accuracy
* Assist in administrative tasks such as paperwork handling and warehouse closing procedures.
* Compile and submit reports on damaged, outdated stock, over/under shipments, and returns to vendors; segregate defective items from regular inventory flow.
