ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. RESPONSIBILITIES MAY VARY BY LOCATION: Job duties may vary based on business needs but may result in generating, handling, and/or inspection of hazardous waste and hazardous waste storage. This can include responding or managing hazardous waste spills and incidents based on the site's emergency action or contingency plan. These duties include preparing and managing hazardous waste records such as manifests, inspection logs, waste determination and other reports. Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or delivered. Assembles stock from storage area to be delivered to customer. Completes Company paperwork including pre-trip logs, driver logs and bills of lading. Responsible for placing placard on trucks and marks materials with identifying information. Drives truck to deliver materials to customer. Picks up empty containers and material to be returned. Assists in loading and unloading trucks. Reads purchase orders to determine arrival of incoming stock, unloads and distributes incoming material to storage area. Responsible for organizing storage area. Separates product by classification. Repacks bulk material into drum and tote tanks. Cleans, sizes and labels storage drums. Responsible for maintenance and painting of chlorine containers. Responsible for warehouse maintenance.
