ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. RESPONSIBILITIES MAY VARY BY LOCATION: Job duties may vary based on business needs but may result in generating, handling, and/or inspection of hazardous waste and hazardous waste storage. This can include responding or managing hazardous waste spills and incidents based on the site's emergency action or contingency plan. Drives truck to deliver materials to customer. Picks up empty containers and material to be returned. Assists in loading and unloading trucks. Reads purchase orders to determine arrival of incoming stock, unloads and distributes incoming material to storage area. Responsible for organizing storage area. Separates product by classification. Repacks bulk material into drum and tote tanks. Cleans, sizes and labels storage drums. Responsible for maintenance and painting of chlorine containers. Responsible for warehouse maintenance. Cleans, sweeps, and organizes warehouse. Ensures all shipments are properly secured per DOT requirements prior to leaving the facility. Ensures all customer requirements are met for deliveries including stenciling of customer codes on packages, COA's, MSDS, etc. Performs pre and post trip inspection of tractor and trailer as required. Uses company provided equipment such as cell phones and PeopleNet software in accordance with all laws, regulations and Harcros SOPs. (i.e. not talking/texting while driving, etc.) Safely operates all equipment. Drives forklift truck to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment. Responsibilities Responsible for assisting with product purchasing/ordering, receiving and distribution control for the venue. Maintain sanitation and organizational systems of all warehouse storage areas. Fulfills all event expectations including but not limited to requisitioning during events, post-event break down, warehouse returns, equipment storage, sanitation and maintenance. Oversee and ensure that appropriate stocking levels are met for each event; rotate and maintain integrity of product. Ensure proper transfer process of product between locations, including follow-up documentation. Assists in performing routine maintenance; responsible for concession and utility equipment cleaning and maintenance: portable equipment, burden carriers, carts, floors, refrigeration, and lighting. Ensure manifested equipment is in location. Evaluate warehouse employee performance. Maintain employee records, written warnings, reviews and other related documents. Conduct walk through of the commissary, warehouse and storage areas after the completion of the day to ensure all areas are clean. Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory. Ability to consistently adhere to the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics and confidentiality Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years foodservice / hospitality experience; similar venue experience a plus. Job Description The Order Puller/Warehouse worker responsible for picking materials to fill orders, and putting away credits to return materials into stock. This individual works with others to check inventory levels to confirm low and out items, to insure proper storage and handling of materials, and to provide a safe and efficient workplace. Specific duties include: • Knowing the locations of inventory items and being able to properly identify stock and non-stock items according to delivery slip skus and descriptions. • Using order slips to pull correct materials and quantities for delivery. • Loading trucks according to the order in which deliveries will be made. • Ensure that individual loads are built and banded or fastened safely and securely, and can be delivered according to DOT regulations. • Alerting the Inventory Control Supervisor to low and out items as encountered. • Replenishing full units of material to the proper rack as old units are pulled through. • Checking quality of materials pulled for delivery to insure only acceptable materials are shipped. • Culling unacceptable materials from stock inventory area to assist co-workers in maintaining proper quality levels. • Alerting the Inventory Control Supervisor to culled and unacceptable materials. • Assisting the Dispatcher as required to provide information on orders, deliveries, or inventory; assisting with yard and warehouse maintenance and cleanliness; and unloading trucks, pulling loads, or making deliveries; or wherever else assistance may be required.
