    Our Facilities Unit is currently looking to hire a full-time file clerk to help maintain our agency wide archiving an upkeep of our file storage facility in Brooklyn. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to retrieve archived files upon request, drive a compact vehicle up to mid-size box truck, and deliver files to/from various locations within the 5 boroughs and participate in disposal and pulping assignments. This position will also ensure all file activity is entered and tracked in our file management application. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: - Use power jack and/or manual jack to deliver boxes of paper to various locations throughout the 5 boroughs. - Work with facilities staff to relocate archive boxes from various locations within the 5 boroughs to Bush Terminal. - Work with staff to complete various facilities related assignments. - Maintain the files and archive boxes in the basement war rooms and storage areas in various locations. - Maintain the archive boxes at our Brooklyn ware house (Bush Terminal) - Lift and carry boxes that weigh 35 lbs. - Able to learn archive tracking database and be proficient in adding items into system and query system to determine box location. Other Significant Requirements: - Must have an active driver's license in good standing. - Strong oral & written communication skills. - Ability to multi-task & work with minimal supervision. - Highly skilled in Microsoft Office.
