The Cylinder Filler will be responsible for safely handling and filling gas products into liquid, medical and high pressure gas cylinders in compliance with federal, state, local regulations, and meeting the standard operating procedures of Airgas.
In particular you will:
Inspects cylinders prior to filling, following standard procedures as required by government, Airgas, and distributor standards. Conducts a variety of Safety checks per procedures, such as odor tests, checking caps and valves. Analyzes products for purity and correct mixtures.
Handles high-pressure, medical and liquid cylinders. Prepares high pressure cylinders and cryogenic vessels for filling. Attaches to manifold, evacuates cylinders to eliminate all possible contaminants. Fills cylinders by pressure and weight, per regulations and standards.
Assists with the loading & unloading of cylinders on & off pallets and tractor trailers. Operates a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
Manages paperwork to DOT, FDA, OSHA, and Airgas standards. Completes quality control sheets as required.
Understands hazards of various gases; size and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks. Accurately labels cylinders.

* Demonstrate proper handling and usage of cleaning agents while wearing the required PPE.
* Operate motorized material handling equipment.
* Alerts the Supervisor when major mechanical problems occur, and reports any system abnormalities to reduce the risk of, and damage to, the system or product.
* Resupply chemical drums and jugs as needed to maintain proper sanitation.
* Manage inventory consumptions or creation in inventory management system.
* Test and monitor chemical titrations to ensure in spec for proper cleaning.

Job Duties
Event staff play a key role in the operations of the Pullo Center and its events. Every event is different, with unique needs. Responsibilities may change based on needs for each event but will always include guest relations and facility operations.
Guest Relations
* Assist volunteer ushers with addressing/answering patron questions and concerns, including ADA concerns.
* Direct traffic/parking as guests arrive for events.
* Scan tickets as patrons enter the venue.
* Collect and store Lost and Found items.
Facility Operations
* Assist with pre/post even cleaning and janitorial tasks including, but not limited to, sweeping/vacuuming, trash removal, spot cleaning, maintaining restrooms during events and doing post-event laundry.
* Serve as Door Guard, directing patrons away from unauthorized areas, organizing orderly lines for guests entering the building/theater, and are responsible for knowing and enforcing building policies.
Interested persons should have the ability to follow direction accurately, work quickly and efficiently and follow policies/procedures, as well as possess exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to react to a multitude of situations.
Most roles provide a flexible schedule and may include weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Scheduling is event-driven, and no regularly scheduled hours or shifts are available.

Position Summary:
In the Packaging Technician role, the individual will be responsible for aiding in the safe and effective cleaning, sanitation, and operation of all packaging equipment and processes with a continual focus on quality. The processes and tasks of the role include all canning, kegging, and bottling, as well as all associated cleaning and staging tasks to support packaging operations. The individual should be prepared to be hands-on in all processes and work closely with Supervisors and Maintenance Personnel in order to troubleshoot and maintain operation of equipment during their scheduled production shift. During periods of scheduled or unscheduled downtime, the individual should also feel comfortable working both independently, as well as alongside Team Members, in maintaining department maintenance and cleaning schedules.
Essential Functions:
Operate, maintain, and conduct basic troubleshooting of brewery packaging equipment
Perform routine quality checks to ensure high product integrity and react when failures occur
Work with Packaging Management and Maintenance to identify production issues and conduct preventative maintenance
Effectively clean and sanitize packaging equipment and surrounding areas
Maintain a tidy and organized production environment
Follow safe work practices and OSHA regulations regarding fork trucks, chemical handling,etc.
Perform all other tasks as assigned by Shift Supervisors and the Manager of your department
Adhere to all department safety policies and procedures
Cold box movement and organization. “First In, First Out (FIFO)” is of the utmost importance.
Build Outgoing shipments for Internal Transfers, Distributors and Taproom orders. (Tracking Dates, “FIFO” for all brands and turning in completed invoices daily)
Loading and Unloading of Distributor orders and tracking every item/pallet for the entirety of the order.
Track incoming keg shells and pallets from distributors.
Clean/Organize Warehouse through Whiteboard and general cleanliness needs.
Scratch and Dent/Sales Sample shelves cleaned along with all cold boxes.
Pallet and Dunnage retrieval daily.
All other tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Ability to complete Forklift certification, prior experience preferred
Able to lift 20 lbs, 55lbs and 165lbs(occasionally 4 to 6 inches high)
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
Ability to work with mechanical equipment
Be comfortable in production areas which include: automated machinery, pressure vessels, steam, hot water, and confined spaces
Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as a team member
Strong willingness to learn and retain process knowledge from on-the-job training
Flexible schedule depending on the shift
Experience working in an automated manufacturing process is a plus, but not necessary

How Will You Make an Impact?
The Lead Packaging/Labeling Technician is responsible for ensuring that the packaging department has all materials and commodities needed to produce the required batches scheduled daily. You will be responsible for staging materials and commodities for packaging and for moving finished product into and out of airlocks and through warehouse areas. You will also be a part of maintaining inventory accuracy and performing systematic transactions so that the packaging of future batches can be planned accurately.
A Day in the Life:
Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to transfer batches and their associated materials/commodities from the staging areas to the packaging area and from the packaging area to the proper storage locations upon completion
Perform systematic material transactions within the company Enterprise Resource Planning system to maintain inventory accuracy and support accurate planning
Ensure safety is maintained by operating equipment as trained and by keeping the packaging and warehouse areas free of unused or unneeded materials
Ensure quality is maintained by keeping accurate records and issuing the correct product and commodities to the packaging area
Ensure productivity is maintained by always having packaging materials ready to reduce time lost due to material readiness
Education:
