Seasonal Retail Sales Associate A Seasonal Sales Associate is responsible for supporting the Team through peak business time for a temporary predetermined amount of time. They will support the store business with personal selling achievements and the store's day-to-day operations. The Filson brand is built on a reputation of excellent product quality, performance and associate knowledge, and this position serves to provide exceptional customer service and team empowerment. Employment Details: Employment Type: Seasonal Employment Period: Begins November 2 - January 17, not to exceed 90 days of seasonal employment Start dates may be anytime between November 2 to December 6. However, the last day worked will be January 17 for all seasonal employees, regardless of their start date. Responsibilities: Provide a luxury experience to all store clientele. Achieve daily and weekly selling goals Develop and maintain strong knowledge of the Filson product. Perform duties related to opening and closing store. Stocking and maintaining size run on sales floor. Keeping store appearance to the Filson standard. Keep your store clean, presentable, and stocked Regularly and consistently abides by Time & Attendance policies and all policies and procedures included within Regularly and consistently abides by our Code of Conduct and all policies and procedures included within Other duties assigned as needed. Qualifications: Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours Must be available the week and weekend of Thanksgiving and Christmas week leading into the New Year Must have high school diploma or equivalent.     The Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers with their shopping needs and providing them with an exceptional shopping experience. Sales Associates must have knowledge about Veronica Beard merchandise, understand current fashion trends and convey the brand and style. This opportunity is based in our University Village location. Ensure the cash wrap area is properly stocked with store supplies at all times. Locate and prepare products for client appointments and special events as needed. Assist sales staff with client appointments to ensure top service and to drive sales revenue. Follow procedures to prevent shrinkage and loss, including accurate tracking and secure handling of merchandise. Skills, Competencies & Requirements: 2-3 years of experience in a luxury retail environment Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
