POSITION SUMMARY
Assemble or modify the components of boats, including electrical or electronic equipment, brackets, carpeting and foam. Conduct tests to determine quality of materials and finished products. Inspect and test assembled parts or products for defects and deviations from specifications.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.

Align and fit structural assemblies manually to position assemblies for joining.

Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers.

Drill or tap holes in specified equipment locations to mount control units or to provide openings for elements, wiring, or instruments.

Perform visual inspections of finished products.

Our Final Assembler will be trained to:
• Build warmers, refrigerators, steam tables, smokers, cook & hold ovens, etc. to specifications
• Operate a variety of hand/power/pneumatic tools such as pliers, nut drivers, drills, grinders, rivet guns, spot welders, etc.
• Build/install subassemblies which may include compressors, coils, etc. Inspect units prior to sending them to QC
• Enter production time, rework, etc. accurately in Shop floor computer system
• Follow company safety polices and safe work practices
• Other duties as assigned

• Basic reading, writing, arithmetic, basic computer skills, and English skills required.

Our Final Assemblers earn a starting salary of $19.50 per hour, depending on experience. Our Day Shift hours are Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm and Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

• Use miscellaneous hand tools
