Qualifications:

Minimum of 5-10 years of field experience in construction management, quality control and/ or safety management.
Prior experience or training regarding environmental compliance and related federal and state environmental regulations desirable.
Knowledge and experience utilizing electronic project management system, is considered a positive.
Strong computer skills required. Must have a demonstrated strength and proficiency in Microsoft applications such as MS Excel, MS Word, SharePoint Online, etc. and the ability to learn other software applications.

• Data entry into the Risk Based Mechanical Integrity (RBMI) database as well as develop.
• Provide oversight and make recommendations in matters related to the RBMI program.
• Conduct Nondestructive examination (NDE) inspections as needed.
• Scoping, performing and/or coordinating turnaround inspection activities.
• Write detailed inspection and turnaround reports, and maintains documentation of inspection activities.
• Communicate and deal with customers and other parties in such a manner as to benefit the professional reputation of the company.

Minimum seven (7) years of relevant experience in construction inspection, materials, standards, and specifications related to state highway projects and facilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to compute basic mathematic formulas including algebra and geometry
Functional use of computer software including Microsoft suite and other construction documentation software
Experience overseeing junior level staff work products to ensure project requirements are achieved
Capable of working independently on small construction projects

Performs and creates First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102 as required. Work with other personnel in the quality department to verify calibration date and accuracy of gages issued to the production floor.
