Pratt & Whitney Treasury provides our business operations with financial analysis, insights and solutions that preserve, protect and strengthen our company's capital for day-to-day operations and to fund future growth. The P&W Treasury team also runs UT Finance Corporation (UTF), a wholly owned subsidiary of RTX that provides financing and lease asset support to our airline customers. UTF serves as a business partner to our Customer Business Organization, providing financing solutions that meet our customer's needs and support qualified sales of our products and services.

This account manager position will primarily support the functions of UTF, which include participating in commercial engine campaigns, negotiating with airlines and airframers, and coordinating with partner companies, banks and other financial institutions to implement our financing and leasing commitments. This position provides an opportunity to work in a unique area of our commercial aerospace business, build and develop strong analytical and leadership skills while fostering relationships internally within the Finance, Sales, Program and Engine Leasing teams, as well as externally with airlines, banks and partners. As the Senior Account Manager, this individual will lead their UTF deals in all phases of the financing transactions - from ideation through execution, including strategy formulation, detailed financial analysis, internal and external presentation and negotiation, document review and execution, and implementation and administration of signed commitments.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

+ Coordinate and negotiate with external airframe and airline customers

+ Fully own and manage all phases of UTF's financing arrangements

+ Design and prepare financial analyses that accurately represent UTF deals - new opportunities and those already in the portfolio

+ Prepare and deliver analytical presentations and recommendations to internal and external executive stakeholders

+ Support various Treasury activities as needed

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, or Economics with at least 10 years' of relevant experience or 7 years' of experience with an advanced degree

Preferred Qualifications:

+ MBA or similar advanced degree

Job Description Reporting into the Finance Shared Services Director, Accounts Payable the Manager Finance Manager Cash Applications, is responsible for all aspects related to the cash applications function for BAE Systems, Inc. The role contributes to the company's success by mitigating and efficiently managing the accuracy of applying cash payments as well as researching any variances related to unapplied cash. This position will interact with the Billing and Collections across the enterprise in order to resolve exceptions. The Manager will also be responsible for continuous improvement of the team's processes and enhance automation/digital transformation in this space with cross functional support.
* Manages and oversees all processes related to cash applications throughout the businesses
* Drives team to meet targeted service levels and continuously looks for ways to improve workflow and overall efficiency/effectiveness of the cash application function
* Understands, enforces and maintains all policies and procedures related to cash applications management function
* Serves as cross functional lead across the organization partnering with all levels of internal management and external business partners/customers
* Keeps cross functional management up to date on customer issues and process improvement to mitigate risk
* Develops reporting to track key metrics, provide visibility to the organization and drive results within the team
* Manages information requests for yearly Cash Applications audits, COSA and FCF
* Maintains strong knowledge of internal data sources and tools to accommodate data requests

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
* Prior experience leading Accounts Receivable / Cash Application management and or similar functional area
* 7 years+ professional experience with knowledge of accounts receivable management and cash applications
* Ability to work on multiple, complex projects or customer issues, simultaneously with frequent interruptions and see them to completion with limited supervision leveraging and influencing cross functional relationships
* Demonstrated leadership role in systems implementation and process improvement
* Excellent communication (both written and verbal), presentation skills
* Analytical and organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail
* ERP System knowledge and experience in system set up (Oracle and Deltek Costpoint, etc.)
* Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI and Outlook

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

* Master's Degree
* Demonstrated experience performing accounting services as a defense/government contractor in a governmentally regulated and compliant organization, specifically DCAA, is strongly preferred
* More than 7+ years of experience preferred
* Experience and familiarity with Deltek Costpoint, Oracle or Kofax TotalAgility
* Experience in a shared services environment preferred
* Previous experience executing process improvements within the organization
* Strong ability to scale from transactional details to high level strategic thinking
